Jesus Christ Has Compassion and Heals the People | 3 Nephi 17:1-10

- Jesus perceives the weakness of the people and prepares to leave but offers His mercy and healing power upon them. He asks for all who are sick and afflicted to come forward, and heals them.
1 Behold, now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he looked round about again on the multitude, and he said unto them: Behold, my time is at hand.
2 I perceive that ye are weak, that ye cannot understand all my words which I am commanded of the Father to speak unto you at this time.
3 Therefore, go ye unto your homes, and ponder upon the things which I have said, and ask of the Father, in my name, that ye may understand, and prepare your minds for the morrow, and I come unto you again.
4 But now I go unto the Father, and also to show myself unto the lost tribes of Israel, for they are not lost unto the Father, for he knoweth whither he hath taken them.
5 And it came to pass that when Jesus had thus spoken, he cast his eyes round about again on the multitude, and beheld they were in tears, and did look steadfastly upon him as if they would ask him to tarry a little longer with them.
6 And he said unto them: Behold, my bowels are filled with compassion towards you.
7 Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you; my bowels are filled with mercy.
8 For I perceive that ye desire that I should show unto you what I have done unto your brethren at Jerusalem, for I see that your faith is sufficient that I should heal you.
9 And it came to pass that when he had thus spoken, all the multitude, with one accord, did go forth with their sick and their afflicted, and their lame, and with their blind, and with their dumb, and with all them that were afflicted in any manner; and he did heal them every one as they were brought forth unto him.
10 And they did all, both they who had been healed and they who were whole, bow down at his feet, and did worship him; and as many as could come for the multitude did kiss his feet, insomuch that they did bathe his feet with their tears.

I'm in tears watching Him cry and heal the afflicted! Raw, authentic emotions throughout.
Beautiful depiction of the love and tenderness of Jesus Christ. He still has power to heal today, especially those wounds that cannot be seen outwardly. Praise Him!
Because his mercy is not limited to the people of one nationality or race but, is for all people. That is what fills me with the greatest joy.
Just beautiful! I had polio as a child and have had to walk with crutches my whole life, but I know one day our dear Savior will heal me, just as shown in this wonderful video!

He has healed my soul so many times. I cannot begin to express my love for Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer. My brother and my friend. He is everything to me and I want my family to know Him.
Wow. I felt the spirit very strongly watching this video. The Book of Mormon is indeed Another Testament of Jesus Christ and a witness of his divinity and power.
I watch this video so often before I go to church and so many times after. I feel the Spirit so strong and can carry this feeling so long during the day and look at it during my breaks and lunch at work. Helps me during stressful times at work. t feel Anthony Butters portrays the character of Christ that I feel the Savior really has. I'm so grateful the Church made these. I wish I could buy the videos. All the actors are so real in their portrayals of these Nephites! Praise the Lord.

I'd just like to share my testimony that Christ still performs miracles today. Almost every single day for the past 2 years, I have found a small way that the Lord has touched my life. I have seen miracles, and while they aren't as big as the ones in this video they are miracles nonetheless. Look for the miracles in your life, they are there.

If Christ’s power has been restored through the Priesthood, why aren’t people healed like this in our day?
People are healed like this in our day. Their experiences are so sacred and personal that they are usually shared with close family and friends. I’ve had such a miracle happen in my family through priesthood blessings and yes, it was miraculous and wonderful. I will not share details because of how sacred it is.
They are.
They are, its just not talked about, even Jesus, during his mortality on earth, had at times, instructed people to keep those miracles to them selves.
