  • This is my third time reuploading this. CZcams likes to really give me a hard time. Anyway, after researching that there are many scary logos around, I decided to make a top 10 list of my own.
Note: I'm not going to be releasing anymore videos much longer. The school season is starting and I have focus on many things. I'll try to upload as much as possible.
New album "Success Is Certain" coming soon.

Goddamnit I just realized I have made a huge mistake about ATV. Three corrections I wanna make:
    1. ATV actually comes from the UK and not Austrailia like I said before. Y'all can give me a huge L for that. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
    2. Colombiana de Television is from Colombia.
    3. Films Incorporated did make educational films, but not exactly for little kids.

It’s been years since I watched this masterpiece of a video. Damnnn, I can’t believe I teared up during the screen gems logo. So many goosebumps, dude. This played after the Jetsons, which my dad and I would always watch together, and HOLY FUCK, your story reminded me of the first time I got scared by it as a child. I hugged my dad and cried on his shoulder. I don’t know why, I just couldn’t control it. I love how weird childhood trauma can be. It opens up chambers in your brain, locked away after years and years of other memories. When you hear at least one note of the tune, your body shakes and feels defenseless, as if you’re a little kid again.
Just last year, I finally grew out of my fear of the MGM logo. It took 19 years for that to finish. 19 YEARS.

    Opinions on the logos:
#10: Not scared of it at all. HOWEVER, I am scared of the St. Elsewhere variant (the one where mimsie is dead).
#9: Ah yes, the most overrated scary logo of all time. (Ultra Dark and Uber Dark deserve a nightmare rating though.)
    #8: I think it’s cheesy not scary.
    #7: Scary and 🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀.
#6: CBS is creepy. However, ATV is just unsettling. (ATV comes from the UK actually)
    Commercials:
Paper mirror: Paper doesn’t have a reflection.
Brand new water: THE SAME WATER AS ALWAYS.
NationFarm: NATIONWIDE WILL EAT YOUR EYE.
#5: It’s like DUN DUN DUN.
#4: THX 2.0 (and because it’s name, Colombiana de Television is from Colombia.)
#3: Shouldn’t have this been on the Ugliest or Worst logos list?
    #2: |:(
    Honorable Mentions:
    #1: That was loud.
    #2: *_C W S U_*
    #3: THE AUDIENCE IS NOW *_D E A F_*
    #4: Eh.
    #5: LIONS BEWARE.
#1: Another overrated scary logo. (The story’s sad though....😰)

Thanks for your opinions on the video. I really wish this video was better tho because some of the commentary was bad, and also I made a bunch of mistakes that weren't even my fault, you can blame the CLG Wiki for that. I'm really more proud of how the Worst logos video came out, I really put a lot of time into writing and editing that one, and i also got to have Larry from the Shiz Oh Network in the video. I love this video! And I agree with you on many of those logos! I have Asperger's Syndrome and I do get scared by certain sounds and musical patterns. For years I was too embarrassed to admit I was afraid of some media company logos because I thought I was the only person who was scared by something as commonplace and ordinary as a media company logo. Now I see that there are many people that feel the same way I do! The freaky music on that Screen Gems logo always scared me too, and it still does! The older MGM logos from the '40's and back have always creeped me out too! The logos that have always scared me the most are almost every logo for Universal Studios (which seems appropriate since Universal has always been known for their monster movies and for creating some of the most iconic movie monsters in history!) namely for the visuals and the music! Their lastest logo scares me the most-their 75th anniversary logo that shows an enlarged Planet Earth, then suddenly a monstrous 3D company name encircles the Earth!! I can't even look at those enormous letters spreading across Earth without screaming and holding one of my dolls for protection! It makes me feel less me we're being attacked by an enormous Universal sign! And their '70's and '80's TV logos were just as bad with that music that ended on an up ending and that 3D spinning Earth! That Screen Gems music also scared the hell out of me too! Even the most recent Disney logo scares me-the one that starts out in the clouds nice and peaceful, then moves down to reveal the Disney flag on the tallest spire of Cinderella's Castle all while playing "When You Wish Upon A Star" first quietly, then loudly then quietly again! Admittedly, when they use the up ending for this song it freaks me out too! It reminds me of the scary segways Disney used for their TV shows in the '60's and '70's where they would show a very dark and spooky picture of Sleeping Beauty's Castle-later Cinderella's Castles in the '70's after Walt Disney World opened-then they would show the opening credits of the show with very calming music-then suddenly the flashes of animated fireworks would be seen behind the castle and the music would became more wild as Tinkerbell appears, flies around the castle and uses her magic wand to zap us all into complete darkness! To be clear Tinkerbell never scared me but the music and the darkened castle and flashing animated fireworks followed by total darkness did! They used those segways in the opening of the show and I think before the commercial breaks. Paramount's current logo with the 3D stars appearing out of nowhere and forming the partial circle around the picture of the mountain freaks me out at times too! Believe it or not the Viacom "V of doom" never actually scared me-as a matter of fact I LOVE that logo! It was shown at the end of each syndicated episode of "The Alvin Show" ( The original 1960's Alvin and The Chipmunks cartoon) and I'm a HUGE fan of "The Alvin Show". So every time I see the Viacom "V" it makes me think of "The Alvin Show" and I get all warm and nostalgic inside! I can also see where the MTM logo can be scary at times-although the original logo shows the cute little kitten meowing sometimes they changed it to suit the show-like for example when it would shown at the end of "Newhart" instead of a cute little kitten's meow you would hear Bob Newhart's baritone voice saying "Meow!" That could be very freaky! There was also some '80's medical drama that showed the poor kitten on a stretcher hooked up to an I.V.! Imagine seeing that if you're a kid who loves cats! Pure nightmare fuel!! Love the video! Love to hear your opinions about these logos!

Thanks for your support. I'm sorry about the fact you have Asperger's syndrome. Just to let you know, I have autism. I know it has nothing to do with the video, but I thought i would just say it anyway. I'm not really scared of MTM, it's just the darkness and the quietness except for when the cat meows makes it a bit ominous imo. I'm also not really scared of Viacom, either, to be honest. But anyway, thanks for watching the video. :)

    • @spy4863
      @spy4863 Před 7 lety +3

Nothing to be sorry about! I love having Asperger's Syndrome! It gives me a very unique and creative perspective of the world that many people don't see! I love the chill of getting scared of logos, and that's why I watch the ones that scare me over and over again! I love that feeling of being scared of something that I know can't hurt me! Kind of like nightmares and horror films! I love having scary dreams because I know that I can't get hurt in my dreams, and once I figure out it's just a dream that gives me the power to either face the scary monsters or just walk away -or fly away, as I often do in my dreams-from them saying, "You know what? I'm bored with this chase! I'm gonna go find something more interesting to do in this dream! See you later!" Then I leave them with a look on their faces that says, "........what just happened here??" Ha! Ha!

That's cool! To be honest, I didn't really choose too many logos on this list that were like scary. There are logos that are far more worse than the ones I chose on this list. I shouldn't even had put MTM on there in the first place, but whatever. I actually like many of the logos that I put on this list; Viacom, Screen Gems, and Films Incorporated just to name a few. I'm glad that you actually like getting scared because I get scared really easily and I hate getting scared, even though logos never scared me, well except for the Screen Gems logo, which I mentioned that memory in the video.

    I'TS OPINION TIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!!!
#10: Meh, i understand why it could be scary but yeah... low to medium.
#9: Ah yes... a cult classic in scary logos. But it's scare factor has massively downgraded over the years after people got introduced to nightmares like Oz film and Horror Factory. Rating: Low to medium. Maybe higher for the darker versions.
#8: I agree, that's some creepy shit over here. Rating: High to nightmare.
#7: Meh, it's not that scary to me but i still understand. I'd maybe give it a medium to high.
#6a: The darkness, eyes and uncomfortable music leaves me to give it a high.
#6b: Meh, it's kinda loud and the eye could probably scare some people but still. I'll give it a low.
#5: Ah yes... another classic. The music and zoom make it more scary than the colors though. Still, i'll give it a high.
#4: Really? it's just plain loud. And the newer one is just fine to me. Rating: Low to Medium.
#3: Jesus christ what the fuck was that. Rating: Nightmare.
#2: Really? This? At number 2 even? And the thing is, this wasn't even showed to little kids. just the bigger ones. So yeah, low.
    HONORABLE MENTIONS:
Mark VII: *shivers* why wasn't this on the list? The silence only interupted by slow hammer banging makes me give it a Nightmare.
KWSU: Meh, not that scary to me. The end could still be surprisng though so... low to medium
    THX: Another cult classic. *T H E A U D I E N C E I S N O W D E A F*. Rating: High to Nightmare.
Weiss global: That was... wierd? Rating: Low.
MGM Tanner: Yes, MGM deserves to be on more lists. Rating: High to Nightmare.
#1: Really? my opinion was kinda mixed after your story. Like, i understand, this is the only logo that scared you and the music is uncomfortable but on the other hand, this might be the most overrated scary logo ever and even you say you aren't scared by it anymore. My rating: Low to Medium.
So yeah, it's your opinion just like it's mine. I'll probably make one myself on my own channel but it'll be in french unfortunately. I'll probably remake it in english in the comments of your video. But it's still a good video don't get me wrong.

I end up seeing the MTM text, as someone who saw the MGM logo in a lot of Tom and Jerry Cartoons, you should know that I was most familiar with the Tanner variant. So I thought MTM was a scarier version of MGM and there would be an even scarier lion. Or Worse! So imagine my surprise when I ended up seeing the most adorable kitten in the history of cats.

There are only two logos that I find scary: One Ho Productions and Radical Sheep Productions. Every time I watched Hollywood Squares as a kid, my heart thumps whenever I see the One Ho Productions logo. That logo has also contributed to my eternal hatred of Whoopi Goldberg. Furthermore, even after 2002 when Henry Winkler took over as executive producer of Hollywood Squares, little did I remember that Whoopi Goldberg was in Hollywood Squares as the executive producer and as a panelist. I always re-imagined that the logo was just a random woman drinking something with her teeth exposed. I also didn’t remember Henry Winkler Michael Levitt Productions, which is not scary, but mostly boring. I never forgot how scary that logo was, but didn’t remember the name until I searched it up in 2016. The fact that the revived game show aired everyday at 3:30 pm from 1998-2004 made me so nervous, even when Henry Winkler was the executive producer, like I said, I didn’t know anything about executive producers as a kid. Not much to say about Radical Sheep, but I’m terrified of sheep in real life and I don’t and I have never gotten head butted.
