- Roller Team Livingstone 6 Sport is a small luxury camper van that has a rare combination: Only 599cm (19.6 feet) long and longitudinal beds. Can be used all year round! The new 9-speed ZF automatic gearbox from Mercedez-Benz makes the trip very comfortable, as well as the trailer hitch which pulls 2,000kg.
In addition, there is the Truma Combi E central heating system which provides good heat and hot water using gas or electricity, or a combination of both. There is a heated waste water tank as well as a compressor fridge with freezer that runs on 12v! There is also a solar panel which makes the camper also suitable for fricamping. Can be driven with a class B driver's license (ordinary car licence, even an 18-year-old can drive the motorhome.) and goes as a passenger car on the ferry!

The car is suitable for use all year round with a winter package. The Truma Combi E central heating system provides good heat and the car also has a heated waste water tank.

The motorhome comes with a new 9-speed automatic transmission that makes the trip a dream!
HANGER MOUNT
A removable hitch that can pull 2,000 kg is in place.
EXTERNAL
On the outside, you have a solar panel, bike rack, hanger bracket, LED outdoor lighting, awning, mosquito door, front in the color of the car, electric steps and double doors with windows. Reversing camera that is placed high gives you a good overview when it is necessary to reverse. There are rails for outdoor tables so that you eliminate the problem of bringing your own coffee table. A mosquito door is also nice to have if you are going to camp where mosquitoes thrive. Central locking with key that can unlock and lock all the doors. Note that both doors at the back have windows with blinds and mosquito nets.
SOLAR PANEL
The car has a solar panel, which means that it is also suitable for those who like free camping!
Here you don't have to think about anything, as long as you have daylight, the battery is charged automatically.
SEATING GROUP:
The motorhome has a great interior with smart solutions. LED lighting around the car. Reversible chairs with armrests form a pleasant seating area, and a smart table. This table can be folded together with a movement of the hand so that you get a smaller coffee table, and can also be expanded for an even larger table surface when you need it. The table in the seating area can also be taken out and attached if desired, eliminating the need for a separate coffee table outside.
KITCHEN
In the kitchen, there are many smart storage options with drawers and cupboards. The new compressor refrigerator with large freezer. Note that the refrigerator can be opened both ways, which is a practical solution. Compressor refrigerators are the new type of refrigerator that runs on 12v, here you don't have to think about the car being level and you don't have to use gas for cooling. Hot/cold water and cooking torches.
BATHROOM
Great and practical bathroom. The bathroom has hot/cold water, a fixed toilet and a shower. Mirror cabinet and 230v power outlet. Also note that there is a window in the bathroom. Smart shower cubicle solution.
BEDS AND GARAGE WITH MODULAR SYSTEM
In the back you will find longitudinal single beds. Next to the bed you have a reading light and a USB connection, which is practical for e.g. phone charging.
The beds can be used as two single beds or with a simple grip become a large double bed across the entire width of the car.
Easy to flip up the beds for easy access or if you want to carry something large with you. Modular system with cupboard and floor that can be taken out of the car as needed from trip to trip. Here you can, for example, remove one of the cupboards to make room for a large dog cage, or remove everything if you want to bring large packages from IKEA with you. If you open the back doors, you can lie down and enjoy the day in the open air.
DRIVER ENVIRONMENT and MEDIA
In the driver's environment you will find, among other things, A/C air conditioning, airbags on both sides, cruise control, on-board computer and a vigorous 2.3L Turbodiesel engine with a whopping 160 hp combined with the new 9-speed automatic gearbox makes the motorhome ready for travel. In the driver's area, you have blind pleated curtains that are easily pulled out when you want it dark. Electric windows, electric mirrors and central locking are also in place. Cruise control is very comfortable to wear on long trips. You will also find storage with cooling and cup holders in the dashboard. Solve math in the driving environment. Love the size and innovations. Wet bathrooms are the way to go for saving space. But I've never understood why waist space to seat four when it only sleeps 2. That space is better used as more galley for just two people. Also, I have a fiat based motorhome now (Promaster) and would look for something with a Ford Transit base instead. At least in the 2016 version there are some really cheap aspects of this chasis.
Hello and thanks for the comment. This has both seat belts and sleeping places for four people. Two in the bed at the back and two in the seating area at the front which can be folded down into a bed. It is mostly made for children, taking four adults on a trip in such a camper will probably be too cramped anyway. It is practical to have four seat belts, many people use this as their only vehicle and have the option of taking more with them, for example for everyday driving. The Fiat Ducato/Citroen Jumper/Peugoet Boxer and the RAM Promaster are all effectively the same vehicle. The Ford Transit is also a good alternative, but the Ford is narrower in the cab and it will be a little more difficult to turn the chairs, for example. Have a great day.
Had the similar product in Germany since 2 years. It was produced up to the length of 6,4m.
This about 8 or longer years.
But the quality, on a scale from 1 to ten (and the best is 10), was 3 to 4.
My electric was the worst i`d ever seen.
I changed everything to stay safe.
So many things looks on the first sight nice.
In pratice many solutions sucks.
At the time i kick off all of the interieur and do an complete makeover.
The only thing i didn`t change was the van insulation.

It's the same product as my chausson v697 Premium.
A little bit different in details, but the same components.
On the CMT 2024 i looked at several types from these group and the quality is still the same as Mine.
Many talks to owners of different types from these group are similar to mine.
And yes it's the combi of 599cm with longitudinal beds.
The more expensive taxes on ferries and a little more difficulty to park in regular car park are one point.
But not for me.
In Germany it never was a Problem.
Okay sometimes you had to walk a little bit more.
But what the heck.
It's holiday and fun.
Life is to short for so little problems.

Probably costs more than it's worth to have it imported. Europeans get the cool stuff. Not sure why we can't have anything like this manufactured here in the states.
check carefully. North American auto rules prohibits imports of vehicles that are less than 15 years old. A stupid rule to protect the NA market. It applies to RVs even if the Fiat Ducato chassi is identical to the RAM Promaster (aside from engine components).

Nice features but too cramped in kitchen! Even the door is extremely narrow with the fridge where it is. Novelty factor great but usability low if using for more than a weekend.
Thanks for the comment. This is a camper van that is only 205 cm wide, so everything is more cramped than in a larger camper, which is usually 232-235 cm wide. The advantage of such a camper is that you can get almost anywhere, easy to drive for those with little experience of driving larger vehicles, you can park in a normal car parking space and it is cheaper to take on ferries. Even with all this, you usually have the same functions in these as in larger motorhomes, except for the space. We actually have customers who live full-time in such a campervan, but everything is relative to what you need in terms of space and expectations. Have a great day.

Las puertas correderas en el baño son una solución que ahorra espacio y que no tiene problemas de mantenimiento periódico como todo lo demás. Lo especial de esta distribución es que, combinada con camas longitudinales, la caravana mide 599 cm de largo. Las camas longitudinales suelen ser una disposición reservada a este tipo de autocaravanas con una longitud de 636 cm. Si el coche mide menos de 6 metros de largo, puede aparcar en una plaza de aparcamiento normal y pagar la tarifa normal de coche en el ferry. Ciao e grazie per il commento. Troverete informazioni più dettagliate nella descrizione sotto il video. La particolarità di questo layout è che è lungo 599 cm e dispone di letti longitudinali. Normalmente i camper con letti longitudinali sono lunghi 636 cm, il che li rende più difficili da parcheggiare nei normali parcheggi e sono, tra l'altro, più costosi da imbarcare sul traghetto. Qui si ottiene sia una piccola automobile che può essere parcheggiata ovunque si possa parcheggiare una normale autovettura, sia i letti longitudinali che per molti sono un must. Vi auguro una buona giornata.

In der Regel müssen Sie eine Länge von 636 cm haben, um Längsbetten zu erhalten. Dies ist kein neues Layout, aber es gibt nur wenige dieser Layouts. Der Vorteil ist, dass man als Pkw auf Fähren und auf dem Parkplatz fahren kann und trotzdem über Längsbetten verfügt. Ich wünsche ihnen einen wunderbaren Tag.

Ändert jedoch nichts an der Tatsache, dass es keine echte Innovation ist … vielleicht mal in die Richtung denken Küche und Bad hinten, Bett als Hubbett mittig … würde ein großes Raumgefühl bedeuten und lässt sich mit Sicherheit auch auf unter 5,5m realisieren …

No counter space for food prep!!!
Thanks for the comment. This is an incredibly small campervan and you have to make compromises. In this case the kitchen. It is possible to use the table in the sofa group for this, and when cooking outside in the summer this will not be a problem. Have a great day.

What is unusual about this layout is that the camper is 599 cm long combined with longitudinal beds. Normally you have to have a camper that is 636 cm to get longitudinal beds. When the camper is under 6 meters long (599cm) you can park it in normal car parking spaces and pay the normal car rate on ferries. Because of the longitudinal beds, you then get a smaller bathroom, which many are willing to sacrifice. There are pluses and minuses with everything, and if you don't like this layout, there are fortunately many others to choose from. They are easy to drive and easy to park, regardless of whether you are going on narrow city streets or out on narrow roads in nature. In many countries in Europe, which is the market for which these campers are made, they must have, among other things, a shower to be approved as a camper in the vehicle license.

Dies ist eine seltene Kombination. Kastenwagen mit Längsbetten sind in der Regel 636 cm lang. Wenn der Kastenwagen länger als 6 Meter ist, wird die Fahrt mit der Fähre teurer und er kann nicht auf einem normalen Parkplatz abgestellt werden. Dann wird auch das Badezimmer etwas Besonderes mit ausziehbaren Türen in der Mitte des Autos. Ich wünsche ihnen einen wunderbaren Tag.

Bis 2020 verfügte dieser Wohnmobiltyp über eine Automatik, die eigentlich keine Automatik ist, sondern über ein 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe mit Triptronic, im Volksmund „ComfortMatic“ genannt. Ab 2020 verwenden sie ein ZF-Getriebe, den gleichen Typ, den auch Mercedes in der Vergangenheit verwendet hat. Hierzu gibt es viele Fragen, weshalb wir diese in der Beschreibung präzisieren. Freecamping ist Camping in der Natur abseits von Dauercampingplätzen, ich weiß nicht so recht, was Sie daran kritisieren. Ich wünsche ihnen einen wunderbaren Tag.

I own the 9 speed 2024 U.K. ELDDIS CV40 version of this van. I previously owned the 6 speed manual. The 9 speed auto is hands down better than the manual. It will change up into 9th gear between 55 and 60 mph so on highway cruising it returns pretty good mpg. The gear ratios are much closer together obviously but 1st gear is far better for hill starts than the manual version especially if you’re towing.
Waaay too cramped, and don't even get me started on that bathroom. It's smaller than a coffin. Just a complete NOPE for this model.

Fortunately, there are many layouts of this type of campervan, we have many different ones on our channel, so everyone should find something that suits your needs. The special thing about this campervan is that it is 599 cm long and has longitudinal beds. As a rule, you need to have a length of 636 cm to get longitudinal beds. The advantage with this one is that it is charged as a passenger car fare on the ferry and can be parked in a normal car park and still have longitudinal beds. I wish you a wonderful day.

Campervans with gas stoves in 2024 - is complete rubbish. Put some solar panes up there and go electric. And better still make it a plug in hybrid so you can have a good size battery of say 30kw to run the whole van. off.
Thanks for the comment. 99% of all European campers come with gas stoves. Solar panels are popular and widely used. Have never come across a plug in hybrid camper, but have sold a few where everything has run on diesel, including the stove (webasto stove on diesel) and heating system and hot water on diesel. Soon there will be more fully electric vehicles based on the Ford Transit, but the technology is not quite there yet in terms of mileage due to the battery. Have a great day.
