@@alextibrea8850 Assistive touch is a way you move around your watch and navigate it. It’s like a mouse navigating a computer moving and clicking. Double tap uses a completely different algorithm and is significantly more accurate and faster. They also just function differently with their use cases.

it is available in old series s8 s7 s5 nd s4 also just enable the assistive touch with gesture control. i am using it since two years. lol all features are available to use. even double pinch to take up calls nd cut calls.

Newer devices with 9 chip is just more accurate with it. Apple claims that the chip on ultra 2 and series 9 are more capable when it comes to detecting taps. It’s not really that useful to me, I have ultra 2
Your right double tap is very minimal assistive touch is way better
Why is this only available for the S9? I mean it was already accessible for older generations with a workaround, it must be a software only feature, right?

I got the series 9 had the 6 so far I’m kinda disappointed. All the features they hyped at the show are coming later. The double tap the health info from Siri on the watch. I should have just kept my 6. I had to get the cellular one because that’s what my 6 was. I enjoy having the cell version of the watches
I immediately wonder what long-term carpal tunnel issues could emerge repeatedly using the new double-tap gesture.

battery life on apple watch is so bad im not happy
It was advertised originally for the first Apple Watch Ultra, a long time ago before it released. Bs.
I’m very disappointed with Apple. I currently own an Apple Watch Ultra first generation. After upgrading to watchOS10, the watch became useless. The battery won’t last a full day and the watch is very laggy. I am looking at other options out there like Garmin that can provide a better battery life.
i have Ultra 1gen with watch os 10 and have no issues. it is better than before. try to turn off, or reboot..
