My sun is in 12th house and I've grown up in isolation since childhood. My childhood was mostly spent playing with toys alone and making myself somehow enjoy loneliness. I lost a lot of opportunities due to shyness, low self esteem and low confidence. I couldn't stand up for myself for the injustice I had to face. It's after maturation of sun that I'm feeling "kinda" better but not awesome. I always wanted to be famous but by being anonymous.
I have sun in 12th house with combust mercury.. And what you have mentioned applies ditto to my case.. Sometimes it feels like a curse, especially at work..😢😢

Im not gonna lie.. this video really draws a very negative image of the sun in the 12th house for 11.43 minutes.. i dont even know why i kept listenning. And knowing how it feels to have the sun in the 12th house, this is just pushing them down more than they already feel. For anyone watching this video, you have enough potential to keep going despite the fatigue, the self esteem frustration and the elusive vision. Keep going . You can do this. Life can be tough but dont let this image let you down. I enjoy watching videos of the sun in the 12th house to help me discover more about myself, but this was plain degrading.

Guys, ALWAYS remember that if jupiter is aspecting SUN in the 12th house, then this adds a little more confidence to the person. Remember, Jupiter is the planet of expansion. Jupiter aspecting the sun (conjunction or by mutal aspect aka opposition). So, jupiter will erase the negative qualities of sun in the twelfth house to a big extent. In fact, sun - jupiter is one of the most beneficial aspects in astrology.

It’s kind of irresponsible to give a 100% negative interpretation of a placement. While some of the things you said might be true there are also gifts that come with the placement but you skipped over all of that and mentioned ONLY the negative. That’s an awful use of your platform and ‘power’ as an astrologer.
For 12th housers please watch others video of this to get a well rounded interpretation. Gifts like enhanced psychic abilities, amazing dream life, gifted at healing & understanding the sick. Great intuition & ability to read people

Well I don't have any of those so called positives except the creativity part which is actually quite hard but has been getting easier, maybe we just need to acknowledge that it's a shitty placement and needs good placements elsewhere to balance it out, unfortunately I don't have those with mercury retrograde which makes communicating really difficult and Saturn retrograde too, it would be nice if there was more advise about how to deal with it

We aren’t if we work extra hard to build a strong sense of self! I I have a shatabhishta sun in the 12th house with Rahu as my nakshatra Lord. I have experienced its negative effects however. I want to interpret this positively and see it as an opportunity for growth. I do a lot of self healing/ introspection/ self-therapy to increase my self esteem, and my sense of identity, social life, vitality, and rooting to earth. I refuse to be let down by it and I will try everything I can to do what I can to improve the situation

I don't see it as what was erode in the east - it's the sum total of all that had went past/moved through the horizon. That is why it has an affinity for the sign of Pisces. The area of life where the subconscious resides, the dreams, the undefined, the churning of the waters of the universe from which the new can arise.
So it's not a subtraction from but an addition to all that already passed.
The 12th doesn't subtract from the first. It's the other way around. The first subtracts from the 12th.
Take a prism for example - in order to get a specific light one has to subtract/omit all the others.
The same with the first house. In order to have a new beginning into something specific you need to draw from and isolate that something from a greater whole.
like the prism that takes from the whole white light - the first takes from the whole of the 12th house.
The 12th is not the house of unreal things, it's the house of the unmanifested. When something is is unmanifest it does not mean it is unreal. Like just because a seed has not yet expressed the tree doesn't mean the potential of the tree is unreal - it's just not yet grown.
The 12th is not the house of loss - it's the house of merging back to source. The form becomes the formless into a greater whole. Whereas the 8th in part is about transformation of one form into another - the 12th is about merging into that wholeness from which something new can arise, that had nothing to do with that which was previous (unlike the 8th) - The 12th acts like a primal Source - which in some ways is the most 'abundant' house of the zodiac. It represents the primal Source of all.
There is no clash between the Sun and the 12th.
The Sun always shines even in the 12th - However, as the Sun may become identified(Ego) with a specific manifestion(house) like Career(10th), Creativity(5th) etc. here in the 12th the Sun Identifies with Source. The Sun shines the light on the unmanifest. The Sun shows the unconscious, the dreams, that which is hidden comes to light.

@@VicDiCaraAstrology Hi Vic, I think that's a great point. I'm a big Madonna fan. But when I look at her Vedic chart, I not only see Sun in the 12th, but also her career lord, Venus in the 12th. Her 12th lord (Moon) shows up in the 1st and is aspected by Saturn--not exactly a chart for fame. There is a weakish Raja Yoga by aspect between Jupiter in the 3rd and Mars in the 9th, but by a very wide angle because Mars about 22 degrees and Jupiter about 3. There is a Parivartana Yoga between Sun and Moon, but that MEGA fame just doesn't seem to show up. So again, this is a great point. I should simply not bother with charts that have a DD rating. In summary, yes of course - it depends hugely on the context of the chart, and also on the context of the Sun itself (its dignity, its lordships, etc). You can envision positive spins on almost any of these three keypoints. EX: "Powerful when unseen." or "Seen even when unseen". And "Humble", "accomodating", "unconventional"

Successful in my artistry, and I became so as soon as I showcased my talent. As I forecasted, I got discussed in all relevant music blogs , was in the newspaper at least four times in 6 months, was invited to several radio shows and performed on the most appealing venues and also festivals of my country.
As for my relationship with the authorities , I’ve eliminated them. I don’t succumb to the ideology of hierarchy and thus live my life as a free individual. I pursued the day trading career. I will not deny you, that the twelfth house is a house that has its things as complicated, as any other house, until ten. But I am enraged that people only see those negative sides. All this time I have felt that this house is a curse and that I come to see the others shine and I sink, because of the bad reputation they give to this house, I get angry that they put houses on a pedestal and others are lowered and put asa curse. I've discovered that I can sing the lights out of a room when I'm super sleep deprived ( Purva Phalguni sun ) yet I can only sing half as well when I'm not in an altered state, or perform at all.
