On the Esparza the fuel pump must be mounted at an angle between 15-35 degrees. The prevent air blockage.

just a tip: Those small diaphram pumps are best located close to the tank, as they are better in pushing the gas then they are at pulling the gas . Great video, I will subscribe.

So true but I have found that once it's running; we haven't had any issues. If I haven't run for a few days; I have to let it cycle 2 or 3 times to get primed and then runs great. My pump is lower than the top of the tank where it pulls from also. Thanks for the subscribe!!!

@@vacayalldayeveryday I suggest a 1 way valve to solve this issue

@@sampep I suggest he mounts it correctly. The instructions that come with manuals that don't come from off-shore places clearly state that the pump has to be as close to the tank as possible. And use the right line. But when it faults out on him because it can't move that column of fuel and he's freezing in the Tetons again, because of the installation, he'll know why haha.

FYI you're not supposed to run these heaters when it's 68°F or warmer.

If you would have bought it from a North American retailer you'd get a manual, and support. I bet if you call the seller for help, you won't get it. Those russian companies don't care once your credit card goes through.
You're next step should be to ditch that rubber hose feeding the pump. It's wrong. that 2mm i.d. is part of the metering system, like jets on a carburetor.
These heaters are great, I have one.

Haha probably true. I did my mind off of Amazon so not sure where they source it from. I did find out much later that the USB drive that randomly shows up in some of the boxes has an install manual on the thumb drive.
