I second this
Crossover episode between Rey and Darknet Diaries is something I'd live for
More people NEED to see this. Publicity might help companies to realize how dire this situation is.

2pm UK As a type 1 diabetic it fills me with horror thinking about people being able to hack insulin pumps! I don't use one personally, but I know a lot that do. Scary stuff!
11:11am, San Diego. hope you were able to get some good rest after filming this.
amazing video btw, incredibly spooky stuff. Hard to believe cyber security isn't more of a priority for these companies, also just generally.
If you don't take the necessary precautions, you are a victim of YOURSELF.

I work in healthcare and I was JUST thinking this the other day. I don’t know if your familiar with EPIC, the digital record keeping for healthcare, but I was wondering if they’d ever been hacked, and/or how easy or hard it would be.

If you are in security or even IT in general and do not consider CIA, follow basic security principles, and use DFDs to map all of your sensitive or confidential data then that’s insane. It is a lot of work for small security teams especially those having to following HIPAA. But it is vital to play devils advocate for what is currently occurring with your network and proposed to be deployed. Like you said, simple and basic security practices such as changing default passwords will make a small dent. Preventing a malicious actor or adversary from these simple vulnerabilities can even deter them from attacking you. I have been in healthcare myself and they are more focused on A instead of CI in the triad and yes XP is still used. It is extremely sad. The best thing you can do it segment them off and create very specific FW rules. This really is an issue since it take 5-6 to even get these medical devices FDA approved. Once it gets through the process then there are so many publicly available exploits now you have to pretty much deal with it. This attack on the NHS happened because of phishing attacks because end users from the older days believe everything that on the internet is true. They are too trust worthy. Internal phishing campaigns are amazing to help with this. Patching, network segregation, and the concept of least privilege help prevent further access within your network. I’m just going on rambling at this point. Great content. Keep it up.
Here from the tictok, about an hour north of Tokyo at 8a Saturday morning :)
So what’s the protection, love?
I'm in my second year of biomedical sciences and I've up to this point not even once heard that this is possible and i doubt i will ever hear abt it during my education.... That's a major problem I would say. Not that these issues will be my direct responsibility but still i think we should at least get one course on this...
Hawaii. Come enjoy some beaches and sunshine!
and it's 9:34AM
9:46 SE Wisconsin
I hacked the rf pager signal from the hospital near me. Allows me to get updates on patients and see a whole ton of PII. Wouldnt be hard to turn a software defined radio against an embedded medical device.
love you

Lol. 0717 in exotic Nebraska.
13:49 in Alabama (Not an interesting place in the slightest). I am a former Scientist and I have worked in gov labs before. It was watching Barnaby Jack's Jackpot presentation, that made the light bulb click in my head, that cyber security is a major concern. Further, it began my realization how little most Scientists concern themselves with cyber security.

I'm almost done with medical school and I've seen nerve stimulators advance and become more common. deep brain stimulators, sacral nerve stimulators, vagus nerve stimulators, all connected to my patient's phone that literally changes their state of health in a second. they teach us nothing about all this tech, we just use it lol
So you can hack a DBS or VNS? What all can you do hacking the both?
Hi
