I miss Sonia, but I do like Chantal. I have a feeling that the English couple are the "wacky next door neighbors" roles, but so far, they do not replace Sonya. As for the housekeeper...well, one can only hope that the writers develop her character beyond muttering in French gibberish and being curmudgeonly.
I love all of the wonderful characters of Fresh/French fields. But i must say i miss the characters of "Sonia, guy the lovable rogue and Nancy who had a fantastic dry sense of humour" 😂.
"10: 50 " This would have been William's Ideal moment to get rid of that annoying air- head by pushing her overboard, pig headed, erratic, tempestuous and downright iirratating!! The choice of setting this sitcom in a different country spoiled it for me, the side characters that they put in were unfunny and really pointless and at times it felt like they only added these characters in to use up screen time, definitely not a favourite of mine. After this I never watched anymore, although I did recently watch the very last episode and that was pretty lame.
Such light hearted easy to watch, most enjoyable.
