- War Robots Gameplay of the Crisis Dragoon setup. For those who may not know, the Dragoon weapon was buffed (+10% damage buff) with update 9.7. While I do recall using this weapon on a Behemoth a few months ago, from what I recall the damage and reload was dismal. However… this time I’ll be running it on the Crisis and with a +10% damage buff this might actually be somewhat viable.

Overall the damage wasn't bad - I was actually expecting it to be worse. The biggest downside to this setup is the reload of these weapons. In the current meta, I think it makes more sense to have an 8-10 second reload time but if this happens we'd have to lower the damage slightly. Even with a shorter reload though… why would one want to use these weapons when they could use the Decay instead?
they got no more ideas so they buff old weapons to get some quick cash in the meantime 🤑

@@viothz Which actually goes against what most players say in that they keep releasing new content because it's all about money. What players don't realize is that Pixonic can easily make money on any weapon or robot by buffing them to extreme levels. Just remember it's a business - I know players hate me for saying this but a business is designed to make money. All games are designed to make money as no one works for free. I'm pretty sure you don't either.
@@lololo-he6xk I don't actually add viewers straight away as I have to get to know them first. I've added too many in that game who wanted to squad but then they join on comms for example and start shouting or talking over me and others. If it isn't that they run off trying to prove they're good only to be a liability because then our squad has to go save them and reboot etc. I actually had someone who I added recently who did just that - I ended up unfriending him because he was just playing like a solo player.
btw I have nothing against you or anything - just stating what I have gone through when it comes to adding people in that game.
I like how they are buffing older weapons but the only reason why they do it is so we can buy them under the special offers. Every video I see where you, Manni, Predator and Aygir release a somewhat strong build I see it under the special offers 1-2 days later
lol they're probably watching my videos. Someone said they saw an offer of the Fafnir with Hazards and said it was my fault. However I didn't release a video on that build specifically but did have it in my hangar.
IKR, I saw a Raven with Spikes and Needles in the special offers and was wondering if it had something to do with Adrian's video on that exact build.

Some weapons are brutal on Crisis even brawler weaps (Redeemers probably the most brutal in my opinion). And you said "It's not bc of the damage it's the reload" But i have a few words to solve the problem by saying "The greater damage, the longer it will recharge. But i want to see Crisis with Chimera cause they Got a buff from 12 seconds to 8 seconds or Crisis Nashorn (I just want to see how it performs, The Broken Sniper with the oldest weapon). Hi Adrian I just wanted to say that when i first started playing war robots I saw your secret revealed for the Mender and i loved it so i spent the next few months as a Free to play player building it in the workshop and just finished a few months ago and I wanted to say thank you for posting that video all those years ago
I think it’s funny that pixonic buffed the Blight/Hazard/Decay and the Marquees/Hussar/Dragoon the exact same amount

hey adrian, I got a built which im not sure if its good. It's the angler with cestus and the light version of it (currently levelling it up). With those weapons getting a minor nerf, I would like to see how they would perform and if its actually good investing. Would really appreciate it if you can experiment it for me as the test server closed so I can't test
I only run the Crisis to deal with Ophions and Newtons, takes time to get the hang of it, but it's "pretty" effective doing Drive-Bys and Window shooting, range is your friend with that glass cannon. I ran Dragoons (before the Nerf) and they were very effective, not so much now (personally speaking). :)

Ohhh...that's the build I used in Crisis...It turns out I'm not alone in using that build...(and it's exactly the same as me)...Gotta use it for long 😋
I recently started using hussars as i finally got 4 freedom hussars and it did surprise me how well it did(i think even made some enemies upset i got them with hussars😆)it definitely isn't the best but actually does pretty good(i am in champion league)
Now I’m curious to see if a Dagon with 6 Marquess would work
It is kind of a shame that the fire rate is not as the same as its medium and light versions to keep up with them.

These buffs are great, always enjoyed using these. What do you think of the sirius getting a SIRIUSly large buff?
The Sirius needs a buff. Although it's crazy how they keep buffing that Titan along with Heimdall. Remember when players were saying the Sirius was going to ruin the game because it could heal to full health and recover grey damage? Well… we still haven't seen that happen yet. It just goes to show you how wrong players can be sometimes lol.
That damage is quite impressive tbh. I wasn't expecting that. It's still a niche set up but one that can work clearly. Like you say, maintaining your distance is key to staying alive.
Is there no powerman pilot skill available for dragoons to speed up the reload?
I know you know your pilot skills so I assume it must not be available.
There is no Powerman skill for Dragoons unfortunately.

Looks like that build works very well. I’m impressed for sure an old weapon. A 10 second reload would be great.
It did ok but I don't think I would use them. If you have a choice between Decay and Dragoon, definitely go with Decay. However… if you have these already maxed out and don't have Decay yet then I would obviously use these as a substitute but still build the Decay as they're a better option.
Hey adrian i have a question. My modules repair amp nuclear amp etc hardly stakes up while yours seems staking up very fast even on low hp . I put all 3 amps in my mk2 fenrir and it never gets there . Is there any settings or something to it ? Thanks and i would very happy if you give me a reply on this one.
My Nuclear Amps will stack fast if I'm running multiples and if they're maxed out. But that isn't the only secret - it's going to depend on your weapons and also the targets you select. If I want to charge up my Nuclear Amps faster for example I would fire at robots with physical shields. Physical Shields charge them up super fast but a lot also will depend on the weapons you use.
It's also hard to pinpoint what's happening with your build as I'd have to see your entire build - modules, weapons etc and also who you're targeting when you're playing that build.
Hi Adrian. I've been watching your videos for a while now and find them really entertaining, especially your dream hanger and baby account series. I've actually been looking for some advice for a while now, because i'm a F2Play player and been really struggling in master 1, where sometimes i've even been put against champion players. All these people have mk3 while I recently just upgraded my first weapon to mk2. I've listened to your psychological videos, but even that's not even these days as I'm gunned down far too easily. Overall, I only have 2 nuclear amplifiers and 1 immune amplifiers. I don't know what to focus on now

I have been 100% F2P since 2014, from the beginning.
Usually when it comes to helping someone I have to look at their entire hangar. For example you mentioned only two Nuclear Amplifiers but I doubt that's really the problem because you can buy Nuclear Amplifiers in the store. I actually bought quite a few on my Baby Account and can buy more but it isn't needed at this time since I rather focus on maxing one out instead.
Also I think you might be focusing too much on MK2 and MK3 levels. I'm curious now what builds you're actually running and what weapon you moved to MK2. I hope it isn't a range weapon because that would be part of the problem as well.
i've put two nuclear amps on the lynx and the one immune onto the fenrir
So i run the Marquees and Dragoons on two mech i have, the Marquees tho i have on Dagon and its insane, i actually got myself to champion league while my weapons are at MK2 level 1 and ive been able to fight people and win while they have MK3 me hs and weapons, its even good against titans as well, yes it takes some time but still does insane amount of damage, if possible could you do a video on Marquees on Dagon fully maxed out because my setup is a baby set up but still powerful and i also run it without any damage buffs

They do decent but yeah… I wouldn't run them being that we have Decay.

It has good burst damage but no sustained damage.
Any rebalance outside the meta is often overlook. We are all preoccupied with the ochos, the ophions or tamer/damer or the curies.

12 seconds…hmmm. I got gauss at 4x level 9 and with the 800meter and 8 seconds……the reload is about the most I can handle in reload time. Thanks for the video
You would actually do far more damage with a Crisis Decay than a Crisis Gauss. Sure the Gauss can hit hard and punch through resistance but in the time it takes you to say fire that one fully charged Gauss, you probably would have done 5x more damage with Decay.
It is nice to see these weapons performing fairly well even in Champion League. I think that if some of the damage was sacrificed for a faster reload and a faster fire rate, these weapons would definitely be a serious threat.
They still dont hit hard enough,
I know the video wasn't about the alpha beta bendy bullies but they siriusly need to be nerfed. Either the reload needs to be the same as the rockets or the rockets need to be the same as this. Speaking of Sirius I still don't think it will perform the best because it's firepower just still isn't enough for it to be a Sirius problem. (Yes I'm using Sirius as you did in your video when it first came out)
I think when it comes to the Bendy Bullets we might see the clip size decrease. As for the Sirius, the biggest problem right now is more the Newtons and Tonan weapons. When they get nerfed we'll more than likely see more Sirius. I think what might do a lot of damage might be the new flamethrowers. Also I'm wondering if the Sirius might be a good counter to Bedwyr because you can throw your turret behind a Bedwyr when it has it's Absorber Shield up.
i have 2 mk2 dragoons but the reload time is obnoxious lmao, works well on lynx tbh
Dragoons actually do pretty good on the Curie too.
I think rhe dragoon is one of the very few weapons I never got in my hangar.
That thing is as uncommon as battleship components.
I'm building my 4x decays to mk2 for my crisis
I can use phase shift once I've been muted always. I run anti jamming turret as well.

They aren't forgotten weapons, for example, when I heard the buff for dragoon in the 9.7, and i used in the test server with crisis, it worked put well. Now, in Present, I am using dragoon mk2 instead of reapers. Good video as always, Adrian.
You are probably the only person using them in this entire game, so i’d say they are forgotten.

You showed really well what the Dragoon can do after the buff. Personnally I think you should not use the Eiffel because it is way to OP.
I use Eiffel because I don't run Newton. The Eiffel is used to wipe out red team's Newtons. I'm pretty sure if you spawned into a game you'd rather your teammates have Eiffels so that they can deal with enemy Newtons. It's a double-edged sword.

Adrian you gotta try the Volt weapon on the Dagon.Its like a one shot weapon…
I actually have and it's terrible. I would have to use Shield Breaker but the problem with that build is that I'd have no healing so if I'm rushed by players I'm pretty much finished. This past weekend I ran different builds and Volt was one of the weakest (if not the weakest). I also ran Claw, Shredders, Toxin, Scald, Sting and Ksiphos.

@@paritoshgogate3054 I haven't tried Marquees yet but I don't expect it to be good because of the reload. Right now the Blight setup is the BEST setup for Dagon as far as mid-range goes. I've tried Otto with Spear, I even tried Magnetars. In fact Magnetars outperformed Spear and it was very noticeable. But between Magnetars and Blight... there is no comparison. Blight wins hands down.
Marquees might do somewhat decent but if I had a choice I'm guessing that I would rather run Magnums with Otto.

Although its good i would still prefer solid gauss over dragoon only because the extra 200m range and the one shot capacity when nuclear amplifier is loaded on crisis
Actually if you want to do even more damage than both Dragoon and Gauss I would go with Decays. Gauss takes too long to charge up and if there's lag (which there always is) then some of your shots will either miss or not register. With Decay you have a 3s reload time which means even if you were to miss you'll only have to wait 3s before firing again. Decays also perform well on both larger and covered maps whereas Gauss only performs on open maps.
I will probably go with a typhon with hussars instead of a crisis with dragoons because i dont have a crisis yet
I would actually go with Hazard over Hussars. Hazard charges faster and has the same range.

Yeah, that 12 second cooldown is a deal breaker. It was good on Butch, because you can unload 2 until empty, then swap to other pair.
Reload from 12 to 8 seconds and this weapon becomes little meta
Because of all the tanks we have in this game right now and all the Aegis and healing I think the cool down for most weapons should be around 8 seconds. However as mentioned even at 8 seconds I think most would still opt for Decay since that has the same range and a 3 second reload.

Trust me you'll notice a difference when you get hit by Titans especially Newtons with Tonans.
Mk3 makes everything look decent and thats why u get people still usomg Fafnir, ao ming or any other ao and the like 😂
I'm not sure what you mean by "that's why you get people still using Fafnir". I've actually killed both maxed out Ochos and Curies with Fafnir but my Fafnir also outputs far more damage than your regular Fafnir because it's built differently - I use Daredevil.
Son muy malas ,y ademas ellos la volverán a nerfear como pasó con glory ,así como angler buf de vida y ahora lo van a dejar con 226k de vida namá y al mk3 cuando debería tener 280k en mk3 o almenos rondando por aí para poder competir en almenos vida con los meta ,pero na mas ventaja para los meta mancos😊
I actually don't think they'll nerf these weapons. In fact… if you go to the Wiki website and look at the history of this weapon, it hasn't even been nerfed once. Here is the link: warrobots.fandom.com/wiki/Dragoon
Since it's release, this weapon has been buffed +53% with no nerfs to it whatsoever.
The game itself is not worth playing!!!
