    Every raid in this game is possible to beat solo, you just have to have the right strategy and understanding of what the raid Pokemon is capable of. So far, every 7 star raid, which is supposed to be very difficult, have all been very easily solo-able, and this one is no exception. This video showcases 5 different Pokemon that can handle the raid with no problem!
    This video is in part inspired by creators such as AustinJohnPlays and JoeUX9.

    I think others found this difficult at first because dying wasn't considered in the strat because it was a detriment in the previous raids but seeing that the time penalty for dying here seems lower and a way to circumvent the Orb Charge drain, it makes a lot a grass types viable. Thanks for the guide!!

      I love that it actually works! It wasn't anything i really anticipated when i was putting these builds together, but i noticed on my first test(Sawsbuck) that it was actually really effective, it made me re-evaluate and see if any other Pokemon could function in a similar way, which it turns out several can!

    Great video and great builds. I've been farming with Toedscruel and focusing on knocking off the light ball turn one. Then went acid spray x3 and spammed giga drain (would acid spray again whenever he reset his drops). I like the Arboliva build and the idea of mindlessly spamming attacks without setup to farm this pikachu. Keep up the nice work!

      thank you! i tried to avoid stat drops since Pika seems to be pretty much impossible to OHKO because of the shield's damage mitigation as opposed to other 7 stars where it's more possible. Did you manage to win with Toedscruel? That sounds like a very protracted fight that might cut too close to time for my liking lol

    Wo-Chien the easiest solo with 60% timer left;
    - 252 EVS to SpA & Defense(stops Pikachu from using Play Rough), 6 EVS to HP
    - Max IVS
    - Nature: Modest
    - Moveset: Growth, Knock Off, Sunny Day, Giga Drain

    With how Sawsbuck works, Gogoat can also work. If you want to outspeed the Pikachu while having the same attack, you're going 180 Speed/252 attack with 78 leftover for your choice of defensive stat. It ends with more bulk than Sawsbuck, so you have more room to play around, but you'll need to take one extra turn setting up Sunny Day for Growth when you tera.

    I have to thank you for this strat, especially the Sawsbuck strat. It was so effective, I literally didn't have to level up to 100, use bottle caps, *or* EV train it. Just 95 Large XP candy. The only thing I changed that felt necessary was I taught mine Sunny Day. I also left Bullet Seed on since it was a move it already had, and I used *that* to charge my Tera. That turned out to be unnecessary.
    Turn 1, Sunny Day, for all the reasons you mention in one of the other strats. Bullet Seeded until I died, Bullet Seeded again until I could Tera [and in a complete bullshit move, it stole Tera energy for me *AFTER I HIT TERA*. It happened between selecting my move and firing off, and the Tera didn't trigger. So it took a little longer to get my strat going than yours. But again, all I spent were some XP candy.
    Once I finally got my Tera up, it was Swords Dance, Horn Leech, Swords Dance twice, and Horn Leech five more times. Since I needed four Bullet Seeds to get my Tera going, I could have done the whole fight with just Horn Leech like you did. I just assumed I was going to need too many turns since I had poor stats, but nope! Perfectly clean kill.
    If Pikachu ever comes back into the Mightiest rotation, it's going to be an *easy* farm. I'd totally keep the raid around for a few more days, but I want to get myself an Iron Leaves ASAP.

    I prefer to use Harvest Arboliva because it doesn’t die! It carries online raids too, my build is 252 HP 240 SPA 16DEF Modest nature
    Ability: Harvest
    Held Item: Sitrus Berry
    Moveset is-
    Sunny Day, Growth, Giga Drain, and Solar Beam
    Turn order-
    First turn you Sunny
    Next 3 turns you Growth
    Then Giga Drain until you have Tera (the animation is quicker than SB)
    Tera Sunny Day
    Solar Beam twice and you win. (You only need to once if you have other teammates with good Tera mons too/ Clodsire or the likes with Acid Spray)
    Harvest Sitrus Berry keeps you alive pretty indefinitely, if you get paralyzed use a cheer to cleanse (or hope and pray a teammate does lol)
    This build has helped me grind these raids like crazy, just be sure you have good teammates before confirming your Pokémon on the selection screen lol. (Honesty tho I’ve still carried with a Clodsire to help and the two other people kept dying so, this build goes hard)
    This build is for the long run especially online, a lot of times you’ll be running pretty close to the timer’s end (especially if teammates are dying lol).
    But yeah I prefer immortality to the death strats lol

    • @Shocari
      @Shocari  Před rokem +1

      i don't know how much you can really consider it a death strat if you're only dying once bc trying to heal otherwise puts you into a loop lol but that build would solo pretty easily as well! Actually having raid participants with seed sower and Sunny Day (Lurantis/Lilligant/other Arboliva) is even more ideal because the grassy terrain boosts everyone’s moves and if you wait to see if someone else has Sunny Day it’ll save you that first turn and you can get to the big damage faster

Just keep an eye out for the Sunny Day and your health but by then you'll either be topped up with Giga Drain or the Berry. You don't even get knocked out in the process. That’s for online raids! These are all intended for solo! And as you can see, they are all far faster than the clodsire strat!(they aren’t even sped up by that much, they clocked in around 3-4 minutes with all of the animations intact).

  • @glitchmeister1177
    @glitchmeister1177 Před rokem +1

    you also have mons in Quagsire/Clodsire/Gastrodon/Palossand that are immune to water with the right ability and immune to electric as well so pikachu is forced to iron tail or play rough. in that case you can run curse on any of the 4 mons, palossand being a bit trickier due to needing to tera first before you can curse up. curse will make it so only a crit from pikachu threatens you which can be fixed with heal cheer. in the case of the other 3 mons, you curse up until it steals tera charge, then get in 3 hits after to then tera and finish off your buffs from curse before spamming a ground tera EQ. with my clodsire i have it set for max defense and attack evs with a brave nature and covert cloak to prevent attack and defense drops from iron tail/play rough, using poison jab 3 times to get the tera off before it steals charge a second time and possibly poison to add a tiny bit of extra damage until it removes negative effects. im able to do it in about half the timer they give you and even one time i got slightly above half time remaining. you might not be doing super effective damage like with a grass type but its not needed as long as youre able to set up your curse and spam EQ after going ground tera with one of those four pokemon.
    short answer: Quagsire/Clodsire/Gastrodon/Palossand with their water immune ability, so Water Absorb/Storm Drain/Water Compaction. 252 Attack/252 Defense/6 HP. Ground Tera, Covert Cloak, Brave Nature with Curse and Earthquake at minimum for moveset. extremely easy pikachu win without getting crit, easy win still if crit with heal cheer use to fix the extra damage taken from the crits you took.
