Catch and cook videos are a major part of me being able to get through quarantine
It was the little cleaver for me! Lol.
That was some decent acting in the beginning
40 years ago and more I really did some fishing in the Puget Sound, True cod off docks, but the best was Horse Head Bay. I would catch flounder, fillet them, put all of discarded extras in a crab pot for a few days. Take a hose to the beach and hose out enough fresh clams to make clam chowder. My Grandma would grind them up the old fashion way. The next day I would walk down the beach until I found a massive bed of massive oysters to BBQ with steak on a Hibachi. The next day I would harvest all of the Dungeness crabs that loved the Halibut parts. Repeat. Those were great times. Plus, the bay would retain the heat from the sun and you could water ski in the bay without a wetsuit. Although my uncle could water ski around the frigid waters around Port Townsend in Levis without getting them wet.
Watching these videos have made me realise how much I eat to get full rather than to be fulfilled. Need to expand my flavour portfolio once lockdowns over!!
