I think you need to be replace module white square box behind radio unit. This is common problem for infiniti vehicle. If you fing with same part number, you dont need to be reprogram.
I replaced my Sending unite behind the driver and fuel pump behind drivers side and my car still give me false readouts.... my car goes from Full to Mid.... but not lower, so i dont even know when i'm close to empty, so i refill my car after 180miles and reset the odometer. Its annoying. 2010 FX35 here.
