- WoGü is a dream, an illusion, a legendary route stretching ten pitches through the heart of the spectacular Rätikon range of Switzerland. WoGü is also a movie that offers humorous and insightful perspectives on the day-to-day work of big wall climbing, from both sides of the camera.
Throughout the ascent, we share the everyday moments of greater-than-life characters Nina Caprez and Cédric Lachat, elite climbers and long-time accomplices. We also follow the dedicated professional camera crew working 300 meters up in the air. From the first approach hike to the final ascent, WoGü reveals the tensions, hopes, falls, and simple joys of dangling your feet above the abyss.
All along the way we share the experiences and emotions that make big wall adventures so unique. Deciphered, decrypted, WoGü no longer remains a mysterious hieroglyph carved in limestone, but turns into an open book. We invite everyone to join in on the adventure, novice and initiated alike.

whoever did the audio editing here also needs to be recognized. maestro musically combined their dialog with other music, similar to a rap song, but without all the things we normally expect from a rap song. totally unexpected and fun fun fun. i don't even speak the language.
Cedric must be the most uplifting climbing dude in the universe. Such a nice production. It put a smile on my face. Thank you Nina, Cedric and everyone who put an effort on making this film.

Magnifique film, tout ce qu'on attend d'un film de grimpe ! Une falaise magnifique, de l'humour, des mains moites, des dents serrées. Trop beau.
Merci d'avoir souligné le travail technique de la réalisation, étant cordiste je me retrouve à 100% dans leur discour, les petits papillons dans le ventre quand tu met le cul dans le beaudar ou le coup de stress quand un point bouge.

Masterpiece. I love the Idea of creating your own Soundtrack for a film about the filming of a send. It just matches the climbing so insanely good.
This Production could be the beginning of something really awesome.
Fiiiiiinally, a really well-made, entertaining, long(er) climbing film again,
perfectly capturing the entire route, its location, its difficulty, its history, the process.
And it tells the story of the climbers as well, striking a good balance between story telling and climbing action. I enjoyed it a lot!

Absolutely incredible film, loved every moment of it, even though it was over 40 mins long I could have watched another 40 mins and it would have felt too short still.
J'ai regardé ce docu après avoir vu Swissway to Heaven la semaine dernière. Merci d'avoir partagé cette expérience. C'est rare que l'on ait l'opportunité de voir l'envers du décors dans les films d'escalade. Ça donne un portrait plus personnel, plus humain.

J'ai vu ce film décembre 2021 avec notre asso de grimpe dans un gymnase, et cédric en live après.
Le travail du l'ouvreur est hallucinant, celui des grimpeurs énormes, et la technique autour... Prodigieux.
Je pourrais regarder vos images sans compter.

It's always nice to see the Alps. Then comes Arc'teryx which produces almost everything in China (and often the poor quality proves it ...). Pity. I jealously guard my old Arc'teryx jackets ALL strictly made in Canada.
