Hi! You can see the single room I was in last year on the video called “Study Abroad in England: Move-in day” posted in our channel (in portuguese). The room appears around 4:20. You can’t see the bathroom but it looked the same as the one we showed on this video. Hope this helps! :)
Is it possible to move one bed from another? I just do not want to sleep next to another person but they gave me this type of room.
Hi! Miguel once got a twin room with separate beds so I’m guessing they have both types of arrangement. But if you get this one, I think you’ll be able to move your bed around, yes!
Hi! Is there like a moving in day for everyone? Or you can move like 1month before your classes start, for example?
Hi! When you receive your offer of accommodation, they’ll let you the period you can occupy your room for.
And the moving in day is usually near the start of your classes
Is it Twin room in lane campus? And by the way you guys arranges the bed as per you convienent, am asking this since the floor plan in university website is different?
Hi! This is a double room in College Lane Campus and the beds are arranged like this. :)

Hi! For next academic semester, it’s £127.75 p/w in the 42 weeks contract or £122.92 p/w in the 50 weeks contract.

Thanks! This year it’s either £107.73 pw or £106.40 pw (per occupant) depending on whether you choose a 42 or a 50 week contract.
What are the monthly rentals in Hertfordshire
If you’re lucky, maybe you can find something cheaper, but most rooms here are between 300£ to 450£ a month.

How are rooms alloted? Can we choose our roommate?
Hi! If you apply together as a group, you can ask them for this! The university will try to put you in the same room and most likely they’ll be able to do this for you! Nevertheless, when you receive your offer, you can always check if you’re together or not before accepting it.

How do apply with someone you want to be with let me know ASAP
When the application portal opens, there is the option to apply individually or with other students in groups of up to 6 people. Only your group leader should apply. The rest of the group should not apply until you receive the Invitation to Apply email from your group leader which contains your group code, you should then make your application.
Once you receive an offer you will have 7 days to fully accept it by setting up your payment plan and paying your deposit (if you do not have one that can be carried forward). Your offer will be cancelled if you do not fully accept by this deadline.
Once you have accepted your offer you have a 7 day cooling off period in which to cancel without incurring financial penalties. After this date up until the start of your contract, all cancellations will incur a £25 Termination of Contract fee. If you wish to cancel your contract after the start date, and have not taken possession of the room, you will be charged the nightly licence fee until the date you notify the university of your wish to cancel.
