Himalayas is a land of Yogi’s, Saints, Gurus, land of ancient knowledge - Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation, Spirituality, Vedas (Book of Spiritual Knowledge - of Self and Universe), land of Bhakti (Devotion). You will find many Yogis in Haridwar, Rishikesh and in upper Himalayas living in caves who have devoted their life in finding Nirvana (knowledge of self & Universe) or Higher knowledge (Vedas)
So I believe you are doing good 👍 where ever u are.

Namaste and THANK YOU for making this video. I will be going to the Rishikesh Yoga Assoc. in January. I looked at the Dristi school but it got really bad reviews, so I passed it up. Looking forward to it but not looking forward to the flight from California!

I can do the Primary Series but it really kicks my ass and there are a couple of asanas I cannot do with great form. Do you think that will be an issue?
Also, how did you get a visa to enter India?
@@ananda_miaoyin The primary series kicked my ass too! Don't worry. You'll get stronger! I vastly overestimated my yoga skills, but I still did just fine. I have now been teaching for about a year.
I got an e-visa online through a website that uses .gov. If you have any issues or need more information your YTT school can help you!
