Talking to Jonathan Morrison about Macs for creatives Brought to you by Microsoft Lists lists.live.com The Stalman Podcast: stalmanpodcast.com Jonathan & Friends / @jonathanxfriends
I love how in the '2nd half' of this podcast Jon talks about how he moved away from the tech review space a little bit and shifted his attention to music and more creative side of things, and in the 1st half he geeks out about the Mac Studio and how he was able to push his projects all the way up to 24-bit/96kHz and the Mac Studio was able to handle it like a champ.
2 of my favourite creators!!!! epic episode guys! I learn a great ton from Tyler when it comes to photography and Jonathan is such an all rounder with crispy tech vids / music production. this podcast episode was genuinely amazing.
this was a great conversation. have been a big fan of John since I was in highschool (3 years graduated from Uni now) and tbh, I've only recently learned about Stalman from him leaving the verge. I like people talking about tech in a common sense type of way like was done here. sure biased, but not tech bro or naive in either direction. absolutely love the convo!
I really appreciate listening to people talk about the things they're most excited about, from a well-educated POV. This episode, and podcast in general, does a great job of showcasing that. Would love to hear you speak to someone working in CG/3D. also, nice new channel name :) was personally hoping for electric boogaloo
It's a shame, I liked Jonathan as a tech reviewer, I couldn't care less about his music. It's not a genre that I'm interested in. I only listen to his music for the tech in it, which is really cool. I still want to see a Mac Studio review from him in a similar style to his 2019 Mac Pro review, that was awesome, seeing pros push the Mac Pro.
