Having 40 + years of driving a bunch of different stuff and seeing a lot of different Companies inter workings, you know when one has it's sh*t together. Still small enough to be run right. And nice to watch something so positive these days.
Its a GREAT company to work for. Been with them for 5 years, we give 110% always and REALLY try to be the light in the shadows. Things are ran properly and done correctly and by the book, no cutting corners here. I am proud to be part of the Pro Intermodal team! I love my job!

Hey man I'm an Spanish guy so I fully guarantee that the guy wasn't talking any crap about the company. And just for you to know like 3 or 4 years ago I met a driver who worked for pro intermodal, and I asked him what that company was like, if it was good as a company and how much they paid him and I remember that the driver told me... in my life I haven't been so comfortable as im now, I go 3 weeks to the road and return home after that, I live well, I am comfortable, I am not rich but, me and my family live on my salary...
Knowing that driver helped me a lot, because he taught me what kind of companies to look for and also encouraged me a lot to get my CDL.

The company remids me of the old company i worked for called Emac transport he had over 100 trucks and then the price of fuel trippled and loss of contracts forced them into bankruptcy. They treated me like family and respect. I hope for the best of your company just keep in mind that things can change fast and prepare for anything in the industry.

Hi there im in england and i grew up with a couple of asian lads in school and they done really well so its nice to see that other asians around the world are doing really well also,i drive trucks for a living and would love to work for a company like this but im here so it wont be happining but good luck to the firm and all that work for them.

Seems like a great operation, I’m just curious why so many trucks are in the yard. Looks like 1/3 of their 120 trucks are sitting there.

Very good for her! Great story. But in reality all those trucks are not what makes them the money I'm sure. The warehousing and the brokerage are what's the real money maker. I don't think anyone can grow that big just on having a large fleet. The mega I worked for had over 1000 trucks and also had their own brokerage and warehousing. Trucking itself gives very little roi

I drove a yard dog for 2 months. Costco moved 178 trailer out 100 in and bumped 50 a day balls to the wall. Learned to dock without pull up 90%. Hard part was turn 1 step hook or unhooked. Could not walk for a month. And cover with brake dust and tread.
Good job a had a heap boss that would plug a tire and put it back on the front in. Dangerous and illegal

It's pretty clear that their operation relies heavily on brokers and brokered freight. Nothing wrong with that if it pays well and the ONLY way for that to happen is if you're able to provide service that most can't

Federal trucking regulations require that commercial drivers' license (CDL) holders who are doing interstate driving speak and read the English language.

Testing in Miami is a different game in itself. FL has 3rd party testers. As long as they give you the signed form, you’re all set to get a CDL.
U have to pay
Everyone has different beginnings in this industry. Do not be fooled by the title , some people may start their company with no money in their pockets , but they have good or excellent credit to get everything else financed through a bank or obtain a business loan. Some people may have a mortgage or own some type of property or collateral to put up to get a business loan . These are key to being able to obtain a business when starting a trucking company .
I just want a 5 truck fleet by age 55 but this pace is almost putting me out of business. I don't know how much longer I can keep going 😢
