I purchased this exact lav mic using the link provided and I 100% can assure everyone, IT DOES NOT SOUND THE WAY IT DOES IN THIS VID. I'm not sure what he did in post production or if he actually used this mic while recording, but you will not get the results he did. Maybe he isn't allowed to give an honest review, so I'm here to give it for him. Save your money and keep researching.

If you are new to an iphone and just wanna know how to send something thats one thing, if you want a million diff ways to record , edit. ,enhance , eq , effects , i could install 50 things in 5 min and wean out the good vs bad.. and then 50 more, it endless. You have the most advanced computer you have ever used in the palm of your hand , people dont even know what these things can do , cuz its too much..As far as just sharing to an email or sending in fb messenger or IG or whatsapp or anything , and or sending it to any app to do anything you want with it.I know theres gotta be a video on youtube on just sharing a memo, if you are new to the iphone, but I could tell ya a million diff ways to do a mill diff things.

Sharing a memo is simple , and finding a good free mic app, record app, eq app, i mean you can just type that in the app store and dive in. Who knows whats even on there now, i have like 100 on my phone i dont use, some enhanced stuff will make you pay if its like ya know..depending what you are doing , but ive had an iphone since the 4s and first gen ipad before that, Ive never payed for a single thing and Ive found the gold and the garbage., this phone is like a lifes work man… i dont even know why im typing this, i dont have to, nor do you even have to read it…its effortless when we apply what this thing can actually do..

I was hoping you would use the built in iPhone mic to really see the difference from close up. Further away is fantastic however I don’t see myself buying these if its designed to use further away from the phone.

@@jonniecandito181 Not true. They are used to reduce distance from your mouth to the mic, not to give you distance from the phone.
@@paulneedham9885 Yes, it quite literally is used for when the distance from the phone is great enough that a lav mic sounds better to reduce the distance from your mouth. If the iphone is already close to the mouth, then there is no point of a lav mic. Both must be true.

I've had issues with my Iphone 8 recognising the receiver with the lightening plug, could you tell me what phone did you use this might with? Plus, you plugged the USC cable into the Transmitter, what was that for? charging? if yes, how many hours of runtime do you get from a full charge? this review isn't clear, when you take an action, always make an effort to tell us why, otherwise, one will just be dumbfounded.

If this is the same model as the LeeReel that I have seen (and it looks to be the exact same mic) then it is possible you got the mic stuck in reverb mode. Read the manual. This would explain the "sound in a can"effect you seem to be describing here.
