That’s my goal. If I don’t make it to be no big star or anything, I wanna do something behind the scenes whether it’s creative or producing or something like Titus O’Neil does

They really didn’t. He did great in NXT and would’ve probably won the wwe championship if he didn’t get injured. They still gave him a backstage producer job that he enjoys. He’s cleared to wrestle again so we will see if he wants to.
@@InfamousElvin completely agree, just seeing what he did in tna, and how he was such a staple of the company, i feel he could of became at least an upper-mid card wrestler, his character work was unbelievable, and i feel vince didnt see what brother paul would of seen in him

Bobby could’ve been a great champion on the main roster if they didn’t kill his Glorious gimmick. He was so good and so entertaining. He had all the hallmarks of a 90’s wrestler with an entrance theme that just oozed class, he could’ve been a great match for Gunther and Sheamus and Drew. He already has a great match with Drew in NXT so it would’ve worked.
@@SteamyMckbeam-fk4ft really? He had everything. Like literally perfect. He was LA Knight before LA Knight. Everybody would be singing ‘GLORIOUS’ through his intro and his promos. He was great in the ring. I get he wanted to be a producer and chose that when it came but in his last year or so, instead of being with Ziggler, he could’ve had a good run of being the Glorious Bobby Roode one more time.
What? Are you kidding me. He’s retired and is an agent/producer for WWE. He can’t wrestle anymore his neck is shot. Plus nobody gets over in AEW anyway look at Edge.
One of the most grossly misused and mismanaged talents in wrestling, right up there with Bret Hart and WCW. That man should have been in the main event picture from day one.
This dude was so damn good in tna and had a decent run in wwe. Wished he was used better in wwe but with the neck injuries just glad he still working as a producer and can have a good quality of life
it's sounded like a case where he could, but it was risky. he's had a good, long career overall, even if his WWE career was not what many, myself included, had hoped it would be.@@Courageous91
Sad that this guy is retiring but he does seem to have a knack doing the production stuff he's doing. Wanted to see Bobby Roode get a WWE World title. Definitely should have kept Glorious entrance character. But he did manage to get tag team title runs with different partners.
He knew it was time to leave when James Storm came crawling back to Impact after they promised him a huge run with Beer Money - Roode got the call the next day saying hey there’s a spot that opened up on the NXT roster for a veteran wrestler.
Feel he was just a bit old coming into WWE. In his day I used to always think him and Dolph Ziggler had equal selling ability, while Roode had an edge that made him believable as a top guy too. But ultimately he still made the right move. Roode is now known across the wrestling world. Its almost a shame as James Storm got the NXT offer quite a bit before but in choosing to stay with TNA I think he's missed a piece of that worldwide pie that Roode got.
Can't really say they ruined him per say. If Roode had stayed healthy he wouldn't be missing off of TV for months and years even if he wasn't in the top spot he was still on Tv but with Injuries existing and persisting you can't control how management moves on
It should have been him and ziggler for the title. 16’& the post yes movement stacked roster pre 19’ had too much going on. Throw in Enzo Cass, boootios and a false champ to gain more foreign viewers and too many crown jewel ppvs and you get greats like this and Brian Kendrick thrown out. Roode was the first “little” guy in my mind that really sold the robe look dare I say as good or better than flair or macho and really honored them as he did it. Dude rocked it
that’s why I don’t watch TNA no matter what they lost every single money guy like Bob Roode and now look at him he’s a producer and booking good stuff brilliant mind brilliant Edge did the same thing and guess what he always looked for young talent to prosper
Why isn't he wrestling anymore? I know he works backstage but why? Did he get injured? I always thought he was a great wrestler. Don't know why but he always reminded me of hhh inside the ring.
Yeah you're definitely right. They call the move the "Double A spine buster" because it was Arn Anderson's signature move and he put it on the map in the 80s and 90s.
WWE ruined him, as they do. They never used him right. He should have been a world champion for years and had feuds with all the top guys. Should have headlined Wrestlemania.
Physically I think it was too late to jump to wwe. He was either 40 or about that, he had nagging neck and back injuries and he wasn't really at the peak of his career. I would say 2012 to 2013 would have been perfect
The sad truth is he was a top name with a great legacy, and then traded it all in to be just another WWE jobber for a few years turned "producer" (aka kept 100% out of the spotlight, even BELOW jobber status).
He was used perfectly and exactly as he should have been let’s be brutally honest, he’s not a massive draw and without theme song was generic mid card wrestler
He dumb for leaving lol sorry but they could be the literal face of tna and own their own company. Lot of the guys are realizing they are in fact bigger than wwe by themselves and could do better than wwe in a faster amount of time. It's been proven. Wwe ruins careers lol

Bobby is so freaking cute 🥰
He was a big fish in TNA but as small as his height in the WWE. He didn't really make a splash at all.
