Lions 🦁 already signed a extra body in Isaiah Williams.
This guy was projected to be drafted. Very productive and dependable in thr big 10. May turn into a good 5th option. If not they still have plenty of options to pick up once next round of free agency opens and pre season cuts.

Also agree bring in Calais, he's a big dude, can set the edge, gets some sack production. He's a rock solid pickup, super low floor plug and play guy. We are waiting to see if anyone emerges I get that, we can still have the position battle but Calais is really good depth either way, and if he won the position battle even better. Add Calais and a WR4 and we got ourselves a SB next season.
Holmes and Campbell have already indicated who replaced Josh Reynolds when they resigned DPJ and not Reynolds. They saw both players every day in practice and know what they offer.
Our offense is gonna be better than last year without adding anybody. And don’t forget about Brock Wright coming back, as well as Vaki who can play receiver and the UDFA Isaiah Williams coming in who could bump Greene down on the depth chart or at least compete. We have more depth than it looks like at first sight. No sense of spending money on a #2 receiver when we could spend it elsewhere. IE Edge Rusher or Linebacker depth.
Williams is gonna step up more than any receivers we can get at this point. And Raymond is slept on.
Reynolds was Goff's guy and came through at some clutch times. Well, except for, you know, that last game, a game Jamo was clutch as hell in. On tape, though, he was a whiffer on downfield blocks and sometimes the blocking effort is just not there. To me, in that way, he never fit the other Lion receivers, not from what I've seen on tape. Goff has other security blankets now
It’s a Super Bowl year but the offense wasn’t the issue. Believe in these receivers.

We need another WR, Booner is correct. We have depth all over the place, but we are betting alot on DPJ being productive and Jamo taking a big leap. We could use a WR4 who can come in and play some WR3 WR2 if there is an injury. We lack depth at WR and as legit contenders I think it's borderline gambling not picking up another WR in FA, because we need DPJ to be good, need Jamo to be reliable plus take a leap in production, and these guys all be healthy. Gotta sign a guy, there's no two ways about it, we are thin after WR3
everybody seems to be forgetting that free agency does not end until nov 12 th so if things are not working or injury happens we have time to get a wide receiver

If we could of got a receiver that could stay healthy like Reynolds or Chark that had good chemistry with Goff that would be great.

This is a bad take by Booner. He's getting all teary eyed about not adding guys we don't need like the Heavyweights do every trade deadline.
Everyone trusts Brad until Brad does things that they don't understand because they don't have a clue what he knows. I'm not saying to blindly trust Brad but I am saying that whatever you think about Brad's moves, 6 months later you will probably feel he was right.
I know it is a low content part of the offseason and Jeff crying about how bad the Pistons are doesn't help. Maybe El Jefe should do an entire segment on Scott Perry and what he has meant to a Pistons championship team in the past before calling him "mid".
Until Brad Holmes not jackass like us in the comments or creating videos decides on weather to extend Jared Goff and Alim McNeil I would not bet on Brad signing anymore free agents that aren’t undrafted free agents to the lions

Since when is Jameson Williams been, “INJURY PRONE”…?🤔 He was coming back from an injury at the time we drafted him… FACTS. But what injuries has he had since???🤔 EXACTLY, none. But you label him as, “Injury Prone”….😂 And, Saint misses games, “EVERY YEAR” because of concussions…. Stop over exaggerating every damn thing…. Y’all youngsters love doing that… HELLO… FFB is NOT real football… And no one is even talking about, Antione Green…! We need another WR, when we have one. But the, “Microwave Generation” never thinks that these kids need time to develop… Make it to the NFC championship game, now we’re straight up Super Bowl contender’s… NOT ONE PERSON ON THE PLANET thought that the Lions would go that far. The goal was Division championship. Now everyone is spoiled…. Hell, I’ve been waiting for this moment longer than any of you have been alive…!
