Lisa! I took your bootcamp course. As crazy as it sounds, I keep going back to the deck I made while taking the course when I do readings for myself. (And used to follow along with this video!) When you instructed to create a deck, I initially thought they were going to be used like flash cards for keywords--just a tool. But, to my surprise, I have really bonded with the deck I created as I went through the course. I'm still hoping to find an actual deck I can grow as fond of as I have with this homemade one. Thank you, so much, for being the amazing teacher and mentor you are.
OMG that's amazing!!!! I love that so much! Please don't feel any pressure (it may be too personal) but I'd love to see how your DIY deck turned out? Would you be up for sharing in the Supportive Tarot FB Group? I'd also love to know what you used as your base? I used the printable cardstock for mine and it's a wee bit flimsy - but I'd love to redo it on something sturdier someday :D I haven't used mine for personal readings, really, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you bonded so well with yours!!
@@Lisa_Papez I've thought about posting a photo on the group but felt a bit self-conscious because they aren't pretty or artistically captivating. I'll reconsider though. Re: The base: I bought a huge package of blank 3 x 5 index cards, some glue sticks, and some double-sided tape. I glued two cards together to make one and used tape for any cards that ended up not sticking together. They are thick, have lots of space to write on, and shuffle so well.

Love this spread. I usually use three card spreads for my clients, or I read free form. I draw an oracle card for the advice, and it works out just great.
2nd reading is in your past you understood what was going on. You can trust yourself. You are being still and waiting. There is great value in that at this time. You are transforming where no one can see in this time. Harvest is coming going with what you want is coming but things will work at perfect timing where the wind will blow away the feathers.
Yep that's the spread i typically do for myself. Plus there's plenty of three card blank Tarot journals on Amazon for super cheap, that's what I got đđ
I love this kind of video. Another general spread for check in, daily or weekly is "thoughts/feelings/actions".

This has become my absolute favorite spread! đđđ It is applicable to so many topics, questions, and situations. Using this spread has really helped me move forward with working with Oracle cards as well. I got fairly stuck with working with Oracle cards and this spread has helped me move forward again.
I absolutely love how you've used The Wild Unknown in this spread. I've struggled with this deck a bit. This was so enlightening and really helped me want to work with this deck more. I'm using this deck for working through your Tarot with Training Wheels because I want to use it more but have struggled with it a bit.
Please do as many 3 card spreads videos as you can! I adore this series and these videos! They are so incredibly helpful! đđđ I much prefer smaller spreads.

PLEASE continue this series! If you can expand to more than 2 or 3 readings and explain them that would be helpful in getting a feel for more cards and how they are used in different situations. Iâm trying to understand each card more but when used with others! I eventually want to have more confidence to do MORE paid readings because i often find I procrastinate it due to lack of confidence in my reading abilities. You explain the cards so well!! It helps so much!

That was great Lisa. I find the spreads can be just as much fun as the reading itself. I am really enjoying doing a 4 directional spread with North South East West and incorporating the Fire Water Air and Earth energy to the card meanings. I just love finding new spreads to try.
This is the best because I struggle with combining card meanings and the overall message. I have searched for the answer to this for a bit but you made it seem so simple. It might be finally sinking in,đ€Ł I missed the 1st episode but will definitely be continuing to follow. Thanks LisaâŠ

I usually only do a 2 card reading; Situation/advice (because I donât like using an outcome position) but I have now tried this 3 card spread twice and it is wonderful! Amazing example readings, thank you, thank you and please keep this series going! I loved seeing the Wild Unknown in action. (BTW, listening to the audio guide for The Spacious Tarot last week made me think about how influential the Wild Unknown Tarot has been; it directly inspired much of Spacious thematically as well as some cards being virtual clones like the 2 of Wands and the 10 of Cups!) I'd enjoy seeing a "past/present/future" done in a less-predictive way as well as seeing a "physical/emotional/spiritual" check-in spread, perhaps with reversals shuffled in, as there are no "challenge" type positions in either of those 3-card spreads.
Some alternate interpretations that came to mind for me: The Magician in the "obstacle" position made me think of life feeling stable (Emperor), but the challenge being a lack of inspiration or feeling cut off from Source or something greater than the mundane. (Maybe those meanings would have come forward more had it been reversed versus coming up in an "obstacle" position?) The advice then becomes more about stepping outside of one's comfort zone in vulnerable-feeling ways to create more sense of magic and meaning in life. And in the second reading, "The Hanged Man" in the "obstacle" position could speak to it being a challenge for the querent (who likes to see 10 steps ahead) to sit in uncertainly until a direction becomes more clear, but that being the necessary course of action in order to keep stability and success in the forefront as the end goal (which ends up being an almost opposite take-away message, doesn't it?). Again, I love seeing your interpretations!
I'm very much enjoying this series, Lisa! I'm learning tons. It's actually made me wish more channels had something similar so I could see more ways of how people read. :)

I've done a reading for myself and the card in the obstacle was 5 of swords. I tried a clarification and it came 6 of cups and king of wands đ and I just have no idea on how to interprete it.

I'd be interested in some Shadow Work 3 card spreads, if you know of any.
First reading I am reading this as ego lead means you are not open to opportunity or learning. You have not brought what you need to really succeed. The swords are what you have brought into your future. They have sabotaged themself thought their insecurity that causes you to be ego lead.
