If your excitement ever annoys me, it’s always because I’m jealous that I haven’t been able to reach that stage myself. But I can honestly say after watching nearly everything on your channel, I totally couldn’t stop binge watching every time I hear your excitedness now it just makes me so happy I want to go and create I know that it’s okay to be excited about things that it’s not being prideful or boasting. It’s just about pure happiness in the creation process. thank you for this. You truly have a gift to teach others and show others how to let loose and be expressive. Without too much technical jargon, but just to have fun you’re awesome. Keep it up.
It took me a long time to get to this point with my art. Having a bit of fun makes it even better… so now I just lean into it. My style won’t be for everyone… and that’s ok… the rest of you guys will have some fun with me!! Now I actually do enjoy the process part as much as what I end up with. 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Denise! I just found your channel last week and have been methodically going through ALL your videos! Your personality is a breath of fresh air and your excitement is contagious! I haven’t found a channel I’ve enjoyed as much as yours….ever! My style has always been realism. I recently began working in watercolors and I love the medium. But I realized that sometimes I just want to play with color, form and texture. So I’ve been dipping my toe into abstract. We have very similar tastes and I have a lot of the supplies you enjoy as well. But I’m also learning about ally of “Yummy” new things as well! I love, love, Love your artwork and get totally super stoked whenever you drop a new video. However, I wanted to share something with you that I use in my watercolor work that is going to get you super excited anytime the words "shiny gold", are mentioned. Lol
I love using the metallic alcohol inks from Piñata. They are the only alcohol ink that I've found that is as reflective as gold leaf. Another tip is when I make dots with the gold Ink and I want my mark to pop off the page even more, I will use a little Diamond Glaze from Judi-Kins for a 3D effect on some of my marks. Happy Creating 😊

The color cube provides for alternative colors to a specific card on the back. They are very flexible and I too believe its not necessary to be exact either. Use what's close and you have available. Love your videos.

Omg I use the color cube to do this too! It's so rad to see someone else using the cubes for use in watercolor. I also use the cubes to choose a new watercolor to make & then to curate pallets based on a single card. So fun!

I absolutely loved what you did and I Telya it’s kind of what I was doing with Dr. PH Martin’s hydrous watercolors. I would spray the page of the Canson mixed media spiral bound paper and it was 98 pound one something 138 GSM anyway, I would always use that weight of paper I used to before I did that I did prisma color colored pencils and did all these spiraling kind of Zen tangles, and all of a sudden one day I decided to get some watercolors always wanted to try. It was always afraid didn’t have any confidence in myself didn’t understand the medium. I thought that I had to be like have a bachelors degree in fine art to even go there, but I just said oh, what the heck go ahead and get some watercolor get some brushes I got a paint us water spray bottle and I just went to town. I sprayed the page and dropped the color on the page and I thought my heart was going to burst. I felt so much bliss and joy just watching the colors bloom on the page and I started to call it Chaos color and I do it to this day, but what you just showed me with those stencils now gives me even more to use with my chaos color that I’ve already done I don’t do it quite as neatly as you did it in this video I just spray the page and drop the color and let it go where it where the water Tells the paint to go but what you did with Kuritaki I have both of those set well I don’t have the the latest one they just release which I want very badly but I do have that 48 color set an a smaller one that I got at Blick just on a walk in and thought I’d try it just by per chance and I love the paint I love how it looks when it dries I love how it spreads out on mix media 98 pound Canson or 100% cotton bow or There’s a new one I’ve been trying 100% cotton God help me I can’t even remember my own birthday sometimes is it it’s fluid fluid hundred percent cotton watercolor paper and I’ve been going to town on that and I just love every which way you can think of to do watercolorer and the watercolorer inks like an eco-line those are to die for use those for wash in the background a lot take a lot of photos of leaves and trees and bushes with big fluffy blooming flowers but yeah I absolutely love what you did here today. Absolutely.
