How To Sew A Double Hem On Marine Grade Canvas

A quick demonstration on how I sew hems on marine grade canvas without double sided tape. When using this method on Sunbrella there is no need to cut the material with a hot knife.

Tents cost quite a bit wouldn't it be good if you could sew up a bit of canvas with your own hands?

since canvas is heavier than normal cloth,... does this mean you use heavier thread also? And would you go over it more than once on the seams?
I don't know but I'm interested in this because tents are emergency shelter. And that can help people when trouble comes. Thinking of making some things.
