Very misleading, didn't even open the trunks...thanks for nothing...
ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhthats pretty
moms dumb as a stick
The short fishing pole you were laughing about is used for ice fishing
Wade , your Mom is precious! You are a fortunate young man .
I really enjoy when your wife and little son accompany you also. I watch a lot of videos lately, and especially enjoy the suspense and surprise of watching you and others open the boxes and trunks.
I am quickly approaching 70, and retired. And I am also resting at home from cancer surgery and all the ugly treatments that follow.
I have never left a comment on any site before, but just wanted to thank you for how fun you make watching you and your family in this adventurous way of life. God bless you.
Get well soon @Anne Favre

Salmon. Fishiñg. Maybe. 🌵
😊😊😊5 Ybor. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Mom, I would worry about Wade breaking stuff. I love him too but I get nervous when he has expensive breakables in his hands! LOL.
OMG I love grandma ventures and her “commercial “ / video,s are the BEST !!!!!!!!!!
😄 What a strange record player '' It's a induction plate'' LOL
The tall glasses on a stand are called a yard of ale,you have to drink the whole yard in one go.It's a great party game in bars over here in uk.
The owl picture "the heavy sucker" is lovely.
So happy for you, when you hit the JACK POT! May your success continue to just grow and grow...
I love your shows. Such a great relationship between you and grandma Venture,.
A fly fishermans delight! The little rod thing is a fly maker and the box of sewing stuff is what u make flys from!
Small fishing pole was most likely for ice fishing
Nice unit...hope the boxes hold gold and gems ! And something special for mom V.
The 'glass ' doorknobs- check if they are the old crystal doorknobs. If they are - they can be worth quite a bit of money for each one!! We had an old house that had them & sold each for a lot !!
My daughter loves owls. Those vases and plates are wonderful.
That skull is awesome!!!!!!
Good luck Wade and Mrs. Wade! 👍👍🙏🙏👌👌🎅🤶❤❤🤓
those walking stick are fabulous hand made art!
LOVE THE SKULL
Your mom is so cool.God bless!
The large glasses set on wood frames are yards of ale
Thanks for sharing the video you got a lot of nice stuff in this storage unit.
Another unit from my watch list that I still get to see what's in it!!! Thanks for the video Wade and G'ma Ventures!!
Great hats!
If I am not mistaken hahaha and use the Grumpy Old Men movie as verification... those short fishing rods and reels are used for ice fishing. They use them in those little outhouse sized buildings they call ice shanties out on the frozen ice. They were in top demand back in the 50s and 60s, I would say there might be a nice market for them
Your Mom is the best so funny please keep her with you💕💕❤️
Awesome video
Vases look awesome
I love mum she’s so funny 😆
The large glasses with the wooden frames are what would be called a yard of ale, fill with beer and drink in one to be able to join the Wades ventures club, or keep for every time you say new with tags!!
A full yard glass is over 3ft long.
Or a yard in length, the ones in the video look like 1/2 yards
They're half hard glasses. Not very valuable unfortunately. Usually given as a novelty gift for drinking age birthdays ( 18 or 21)
The bamboo fishing pool is worth some money and the little pole you found in that bag is for ice fishing
Bamboo fishing poles like that old one can fetch quite a bit! Great finds guys! Love your videos!
The big poles look like sturgeon and salmon rods used from the bank. The large triangle weight is good for sandy bottoms so they don’t roll around like cannonball weights.
i must have missed something... what were the Rare lifetime collectables found?
🇬🇧 Mind the tips on those rods !! Old rods can be valuable. Holiday souvenir walking sticks.
That was amazing! Love ya grandma Ventures.
Cool just like the Goodwill
You and your Mom are so good at what y’all do and I know you get a good work out doing this I am almost bed ridden and this is a wonderful way for me to pass the time I always loved to go to Garage sales no that I can’t I love your show Thank y’all so much where are y’all from ?
Your Mum is awesome!
Id want almost all of that in my house. Even the skull! Great unit!
Yes, I am entertained to the max by your videos.
🇬🇧 The glass in wooden supports look like miniature "Yards of Ale". Definitely a paperweight.
I want to see the rest of the goodies in the trunks! That couple certainly had interesting stuff. Great haul!
Wade, those tall glasses with the wood , I personally use them for wine or beer at dinner with family and friends
love the shoehorns. Haven't seen some of that quality in several years.
I think I need a valium to help me watch Wade poke around breakables :) It's nerve wracking! I love your videos both for the adventure of discovery and the entertainment value, your Mum is a hoot (LOL), you are so lucky to have such a great relationship. I LOVE the skull!
Me too 😂😂! He just throws them about ! I cringe thinking omg he’s gonna break it 😮
It’s seriously nerve wrecking especially the collectables the family have a wonderful relationship between them.
The big weights are used for beach/surf fishing. check the paper weight for a signature
I agree about this being an adventure. I like watching it and selecting items I want for fun.
I do that too lol.
32:16 - For massages. They are musical and comforting.
Love the Fadora's (Hats)
Thats awesome the unit was right next to the elevator! Very convenient for sure.
Glasses are yard or ale, brilliant .
Great video as always
Love the intro. Great finds.
Hi i am from Pakistan i like your videos i wish I can buy all crockery from you i love it
just so you know length has little to do with how well it can be used... the fishing poles that is... lol... however very short ones like that are mostly used for ice fishing. No casting required, but if you are thinking they would not work in a lake or pond, think of the old Pocket Fisherman. It was short, but did work pretty well.
Back in the day they called those glasses ‘’hurricane glasses’’ for some fancy tropical drinks. Nice unit....’’Hi Denise’’
Great haul!
Nice job👍👍👍
I think the "glasses"on the stand are yards of ale glasses. I'm told once full you must down it on one, apparently all goes quite well until the bulb at the bottom gets air in the beer gushed out.
You’re not kidding!
The wood poles are "Burma Cane" and could be valuable to an oldtimer.
The long glasses are yards of ale.hope it helps.
The ceramic house at the beginning is a collection, my mum had nearly the whole set. I would be interested in it butt I live in Canada please contact me about the cost.
Grandma ventures you are awesome
About 12:15 you find a fishing pole. It is used for Ice Fishing pole. Thanks for sharing
They look like yard glasses for beer
Nice clean storage unit, ❤️
The long fishing rods look like "beach-casters" - for sea fishing from the shore
🇬🇧 Agree. Or from the rocks.
The metal "art" was from a gun range - he used it for target practice
You said that very polite
😂😂😂
Interesting you don't like seeing Goodwill stickers on stuff in storage units, but go to the Goodwill bins to source. Is there a difference?
I’m pretty sure someone has already stated this but that tackle box looks like it was used to make fishing lures and flies.
Actually love the skull! I would put it on my dresser! 😄
The tall glasses look like yards of ale glasses.
Half-yards of ale. www.amazon.com/Libbey-Craft-Brews-Half-Yard-32-ounce/dp/B000GTDMIW
I was fixing to say the same thing lol
It is an art to drink out of it without getting covered it the drink, due to the bubble in the end. Tip it to high and the bulb at the end releases the majority of the liquid.
@@helentaylor4911 Invented to give coach drivers a beer ... long enough to pass them up with spilling.
Often used as rights of passage....21st birthdays
My mum worked for David Winter, she painted miniature the houses, villages etc.
Those small little fishing poles are used for ice fishing
you guys got some neat things so far.
13:40 - "That should be fishing equipment, shouldn't it?" • "Oh yeah, I guarantee it." • (opens it) • "Oh!" • "No?" • "It's sewing!" • "Hahahahaha" 😂😂😂!!! I'm dying over here. You guys are hilarious together, I swear.
I love love love you two...🤗
The cuff links were probably used for crafting....great locker!
What a crazy collection of walking sticks😱😉😱
Your hour glasses are what is known as a "Yard of Ale", its a drinking game, fill with beer and then try to drink without soaking yourself. The trick is to keep turning the glass as you drink.
Good locker Wade , here in Vegas that locker would go over 500.00 easy.
Some where in a box will be a miniature cast iron stove that the mini pots go to. I have my mom's an it's Really cool.
Some of those poles are for deep sea fishing.
I like the unit. Cool things in there.
they are for beer, we used them just like those in Germany some years ago!
id definitely get the franklin porcelain vases checked out depending on the design they can go from $30 - $120 ish each
The balls in the little blue box at 32:05 are Chinese chiming balls used for hand exercising. You hold them in one hand and roll them. They really do help with your dexterity. Thanks for the video! 😁✌
Yard of beer glasses with stands.. Used to work at a bar that sold them.
Grandma should try a yard of champagne, in one go, I would like to see that lol
For sure , make sure Mom is involved. It comes across clearly that you are in this game for the money. Mom seems to have an appreciation of the intrinsic value of the items you are showing. I am not watching you just to discover the worth of these items. I want to know something about them and have a little time to appreciate them. Recently you zipped through several
really weird boxes of items that I would have liked to have seen more of. I was really ticked that they were only flashes in the boxes.
Great unit! Love the boat shelf! I hope we get to see what's in the chests soon! :)
Back in the 60’s those tall glasses were called ‘a yard of ale’
Tall glass flower vases,I’d use them for.
12:57 - "A record player; isn't it?" • "No. No-hahaha-no-hahaha." "I better wipe my glasses off." "Yeah, you better!"😂😂😂 This part had me laughing hahaha... Love watching this all happen, man! :)
6:06 those vase are probably Franklin mint
The skull is awesome
Looks like a repro fire extinguisher👍🏻
The heavy rodz are for surf fishing i think
Ice fishing poles. You have to have small poles because you are on a freeze lake with a small hole that you drill. Louise Tridle
rule of thumb orange glow is copper yellow glow is brass
Some of the fishing rod and reels are saltwater and surf reels.
The ones that are long and thick are saltwater.
