This channel strip is amazing when used for mixing vocals. Vocals mixed with the Shelford Channel are sounding close to finished with little to no processing needed in the box.

The vocals sound so digitized and robotic that it’s hard to appreciate any kind of analog tonal characteristics imparted on the sound. Maybe I’m just not used to the style. It sounds like a midi instrument
