@@soldiere.kriegerhd1738 the waits worth it. It's the difference between 4000 plat at 30 or 120 pounds. The more frequently you purchase on lesser discounts the less frequently it'll give you 75% offs, btw.
@@soldiere.kriegerhd1738 if you put some of your effort into farming platinum for 2 months instead of waiting for a 75% discount, you could easily farm a lot of plat, or at least set yourself up for a kinda-passive plat farm, trust me once you figure stuff out you will have more plat in this game than you can spend

Another biggest Platnium scams are in also in Trade chat. Dont spend 300% platnium on a riven there when you can get it on wf market or riven market for 1/10 of the plat
For The amount of money I spent I need more of plat… Grendel bundle, 150$ 3120 plat bundle l,100$ 2100 plat bundle twice, 80$ bundle.. etc yea I was new to the game all within the last 3-4 months 🙃…yeaa I know

Last year, I got hit with a strike complaint from DE stated I traded with someone who had "dirty" or "outside plat" purchase from another service. DE took away the plat I received but didn't give me my riven in return.
I really do hope DE will resolve this issue. It's such an RNG plague and you can't tell who carries it, which makes trading more intimidating! 😒😞🚫
My rule is only spend plat on cosmetics, slots when needed, and sometimes boosters. That’s it nothing else. I only spend real money on prime accessories packs for platinum because buying the normal platinum packs are also scams. I’m on console so even when the platinum packs are 50% off they still aren’t as good of a deal as the accessory packs.
Agreed. It can get pricey when you're a beginner player but when you start to learn what's easily farmable, you'll start to notice what's worthy of buying and avoidable. 😎✨

Gotta admit, a lot of my plat goes into catalysts/reactors. Not when I've got the Nightwave cred to buy one from there instead, but when it's either inbetween nightwave seasons or when I'd have to progress a bunch of levels before I would have enough cred whilst not having many weeklies left, then I tend to spend the plat instead for grinding for a week or two.
Slots are a close second.
Only bought a booster once so far, but might end up picking up a resource booster some time since I've got a bunch of relics I wanna refine and the base rate for void traces is painful.
Only time i recently bought a weapon in the market was me getting tired of being unlucky on the Ambassador because the amount of times I should have gotten the BP I never seemed to get it while farming up necramech levels up to 40 for both of them. Even the ambassador doesnt feel that much worth it considering most incarnon weapons are usually better than what Railjack drops used to offer. I even bought the Nautilus as well for same reason but that was before all the bond mods coming into WF and I dumped its weapon like an idiot to make room. x.x
Relying on drops in railjack is overall a scam and time consumption unless you were already enjoying it back in the day before said drops became mostly worthless to the current meta. And DE eventually gave us both sevagoth and epitaph basically for free not that it matters much anymore.
Also side note, Aura formas isnt that bad of a buy if you got plat to spare because getting the blueprints and spending 4 forma on each one is god awful in comparison to building WF adaptors and umbra formas and even WF adaptors were pushing it a little despite sorte can give you some for free along with free weapon adaptors in duviri. Formas are a commodity that shows its ugly head the later in the game you are.
Qorvex, Dante, Gyre, Caliban, Stynax, Voruna, and Xaku are pretty much the only frames I would consider fine to buy with plat. They're all very late game, don't have a primed version, and/or are just annoying farms. Overall, I would suggest playing them in circuit first before deciding on buying them with plat though if you are a newer player as the plat prices are quite high for a single frame - almost $20 for a single frame that is available in game eventually. If you're gonna buy it, make sure it's a character you really like. Otherwise, if it's a character like Gauss, Grendel, Hildryn, or Baruuk, other frames that are late game / annoying farms, the primed version is not only better, but cheaper to buy a full set from another player for a fraction of the price. Furthermore, some characters like Yareli or Dagath are tied to a clan system, which I would recommend new players join as opposed to spending plat on these characters.
I'd actually drop Dante & Gyre from this list, and add Sevagoth. I'd also add the Necramech. Dante's for a ridiculously easy farm for late game, and Gyre's farm will generate platinum if you're doing it right.
Sevagoth has the absolute worst farm in the game. RJ missions suck, and you have to run around 200 of the hardest ones to guarantee getting him. Further, he's a fantastic frame without a primed variant. And if that wasn't bad enough, his helminth is one of the best in the game, so you kind of need 2 of him (around 400 runs of void storm in veil proxima 🤢🤢🤢).
Necramech is totally worth buying to save the time of flying around the cambion rift looking for weird animals.
Alot of those weapons can be built from clan dojo as well which you forgot to mention
I bought my Necramech with a 50% off Coupon, didnt want to farm that bs and for half the price it's ok value

As far as weapons go, I may or may not buy the Aeolak or the Hespar. Either I'll get the parts while doing Zariman stuff or I get a 75% off coupon and buy one of them. Whichever comes first

I bought the Orokin Cell BP because I thought it was a 100 CREDIT, single-use type of deal. Luckily, WF Support was able to refund once I realized what I did. Kudos to them for helping me avoid that shame lol

the pesky warframes hildryn, sevagoth, citrine, grendel, equinox, saryn etc. if you need their helminth / the frames itself fast better buy it with plat. but im a masochist.. i farmed saryn over 1 weekend. that was.. 💀..
Tip: if you want to buy forma which is 20p but if you have the bp and make the forma when speeding the process its 10p so if you were needy for them at the moment you can spend 20p for 2 or wait and get 2

On Xbox, there are people making posts on the club for account carries or new accounts for real money. And I always report them, and they almost immediately get taken down. But they always come back, and it's so annoying because I don't think Xbox will hard ban them.

lens are quite a bit of a scam, you can buy lua lens which are the highest tier lens, for a significantly cheaper price. eidolon lens are a flat 80, while lua lens on the marketplace at their highest, are 40, and more commonly, 20.
I only buy slots and orokin Catalyst with plat, and recently just buying separate cheap prime part. It takes only 1400 plat, to progress me til now MR 13. Still waiting for my 75% discount tho 😅, hope i get 75% so i can straight up buying 2000 plat at once.
I farm the prime resurgence gear, buy the cosmetics, and almost always buy forma, 3 for 35 plat, I think they translate to like 75 cent a piece.
I find it funny because stuff like the orokin cells and all used to be bundles of 10 for I think 5 plat then they removed it because they wanted you to farm then they added it back because people complained but they balanced it for people who sell rivens and primes for plat thats why the market exists though lol

Don't worry mate, I am on the same boat as you are.... Hundreds and hundreds spent already on forma bundle. This is me just maxing 1/3 of the kuva and tenet weapons.
Same! Don't feel discouraged! I honestly think the BIGGEST WASTE of forma is on the Necramechs, lich/sister weapons and Paracesis* (it's excusable because it's an awesome heavy Melee weapon.)
What sucks is, in order for you to FULLY max them, you would need to pump 5-Forma to rank 40. So get ready to waste over 140+ forma! Also, take advantage of free forma alerts, rewards from Night Wave, relic BP, etc. You might be able to spend less on bundles! 😵💫😒😞💔

Most Prime Warframe sets are around 90 plat. Which isn't too bad.
Some end game(or just rare) mods are worth spending plat on because a drop rate of like 4% is crazy to me and not worth my time.

Buy slots. Just slots, slots, slots. You will get more forma than you can use once you’re early/mid-game. You can get catalysts and shit in missions, sales are ok on those if you need need them. But SLOTS, BUY SLOTS ALL THE TIME
Honestly you could compromise on slots as well. A ton of weapons are just mastery fodder, might as well level them up and then just sell them.
Idk where y’all get formas, but I once used 30+ forma bp, since I didn’t rush them it took me a month to build them all. After that I just buy 10 packs when I need them, it’s honestly faster to get 350p than waiting a month

50 Plat for 1000 Endo is wild. I reckon you can probably buy a max ranked mod that dissolves into way more Endo ftom another player for less than that.
Also, just imagine - it would cost 2000 plat to max a single primed mod that way.
Can you explain where to get the adapters, and other unlocking items for weapons and frame?
most of these adapters are purchasable for steel essence, if you dont know what that is play through the game, u will unlock it

This community doesn't even make shit easy. I've been playing since 2013'ish and I quit playing for 2 yrs and came back when Railjack was announce.
Even then till now 2024 MR 29 I still have 0 plat in my name with shit tons of prime sets and hole much more.
Selling at Market Price or even Game Price(Trade Chat) isn't enough.
The only time I'm even able to trade is if its minimum of 20 or below. Even then im not taking that. Prime sets are worth more due to shit RNG

Well yeah, you also buy Nitain, but honestly, you you just need reactors/catalysts more often than you use Nitain, plus one purchase of Nitain is usually enough for more than one item.

I bought and owned every single cosmetic and color pallet in market as long as the currency is Plat. The 2nd most I spent on is Forma, I speed them out with 10p each and if I really want it I buy tons of them, why not? Plat is easy to make in weekend, easy 1k plat in just a day.

The biggest scam is cosmetics. You don't need those to play the game. At least resources have a use.
Well, here's the thing: Resources can be farmed. Cosmetics can't. Besides, as everyone knows, fashionframe is the true endgame.

I buy Oberon on every new account. Easily my favorite warframe but he requires railjack and the prime has a mastery requirement.
Other than that Ive only bought Dante and Sevagoth. After 1500 hours ive never unlocked "endgame" i actually only got my first arcane recently from the circuit.
Whats holding me back? Mods, im so weak. But its not endo, i have tens of thousands of endo. But i can never get enough credits.
Im always so low on credits, i cant do profit taker, that corpus mission is by far one of my least favorite activities.
I get my credits from running excavation and defense and selling mods. Is it efficient? I think so, because doing the other meta methods would cause me to burn out and quit.
I understand it's not super fun, but honestly, an hour or so of Index now and then would really help your credit situation.
Also, have you tried venturing into the steel path? You really don't need maxed out Primed mods for early SP missions, and as you do them, you'll get more Arcanes.

As for steel path, nope don't have it unlocked, it requires too many missions and nodes I won't touch with a 100 foot pole
