  • Notched Pink Noise and Neuromodulation both centered at 6 kHz (6,000 Hz). Pink noise is filtered broad-band noise with reduced high frequencies. Filtered pink noise takes that initial noise and then removes a range of frequencies surrounding 6 kHz. The neuromodulation added on top of the filtered noise is made up of evenly spaced frequencies surrounding 6 kHz which are played randomly. All Tin-Ear videos are set to a continuous black background.
Some people find filtered noise to be relaxing and to aid in concentration or relaxation. Others will find it is helpful for distracting from environmental sounds or tinnitus. This recording being focused on 6 kHz is designed to help if there is a particular need to focus on that frequency or the surrounding frequencies.
Tin-Ear videos are for entertainment purposes and should not be used to replace any medical advice and is not a medical treatment. Listening to these audio recordings is done at the listener’s discretion as well as at the sound level of their own discretion. Always begin by listening at low levels and only increasing sound after learning about your reaction to the audio.
Audio recordings created by Mark Partain, Au.D.
