bin immer wieder erstaunt das es noch so alte waschanlagen gibt . hab selber in den 80 jahren an einer portalwaschanlage gearbeitet die anlage war eine kleindienst super polish

There was one of these in a garage across the road from my house in 1975, I was 10 years old at the time and loved to watch it working. I can still remember the sounds it made as if it was yesterday, there were cars all along the road waiting to get in as it was such a novelty back then.
I am sad and angry to see this wonderful machine in such a poor condition after so many years of hard work. The poor old fella needs a lot of love and the owner a good slap round the ear.
Can someone make a carwash museum to save these vintage machines for the future? :)

Geile Waschanlage .so eine Anlage sieht man selten ich mochte die California Rohe schon als kleines Kind .
Hmm in Düsseldorf war bis in die 90er an der Nuttentankstelle,
(Shell Station mit angrenzendem Bordell) eine solche C25, die Station ist zu aber ich glaube die Waschanlage ist immernoch in der Halle, da müsste mal jemand nachgucken..die war noch gut im Zustand...Düsseldorf, wenn man auf die Autobahn fährt vom Arag Hochhaus richtung Oberhausen / Essen, rechte Seite kommt irgendwann eine aufgegebene 70s Shell Station mit kleiner Waschhalle darin ist die C25 bis zuletzt gestanden..

This is an old car wash machine,so the dryer was not designed to come closer to the car.
Guck auch mal die alte FFB Waschstraße in Fürstenfeldbruck aus den späten 70ern Malchinger Straße 2 82256 Fürstenfeldbruck!

I think that machine's worn out... for a car dealership, of all places, to keep their car wash in such condition is rather disgraceful.
Then again, it IS a Ford dealership.
Ok, I take that back, overseas Ford is better than American Ford...
Still, that machine ought to be replaced. The dryer doesn't even work like it should, and it seems to barely be able to move!

This machine is in Spain. It is a fully working example of the world's first fully automatic rollover with brushes, which was introduced by Istobal in 1973. The control, if I'm not mistaken, is fully analog.
