Heavy disagree on withholding ult to save Leona. You are assuming there will be a situation in the next 180 seconds where you can use the ult more efficiently. It worked out this game but many other times it won’t. You are trading certainty for uncertainty.
There will be and there was. No offense, but you don’t understand how to path and set up ganks if you think there won’t be an opportunity within 3 minutes
He used it at 9:00 (the Leona incident was 6:55). So just over 2 minutes. He also saved Leona with it

Quick question, where would you have gone after this play? Would you have taken your bot camps? Or fight the bot tower until your topside camps respawn and then full clear again?

70% of the games they will help. They won botlane fight, had prio, on top of that Udyr was top and Corki probably base. It was the most free dragon for any jungler. Even in silver and gold they will come, but you must ping it.
And then there are the rest 30% of the games where mid and bot will have every reason to come at drake (wining the lane + prio/ vision/ enemy jg on the otherside of the map, etc.) and they will not come, because they are idiots. When you have an objective so free there is no other explanation than being an idiot for not coming to claim it.
@@franktv8907 the only time I will push an objective is if I know we have a high chance of taking it. I haven’t done my placements yet so I don’t have a rank, but we can have enemy mid and both enemy bot dead and I still don’t get help, even if I ping it.
@@franktv8907no, my experience in emerald and below is my team will always never come. They will just take 3 farm and recall, making me take too long to drake and get collapsed on by enemies while they walk straight back bot, after 20 assistance pings.
Laners all want objectives but almost refuse to help take them. They expect you to matically oneshot them.
@@windthugness in this situation, especially if enemy bot and mid is dead and your team on bot and mid have good hp/mana and still dont come at objective u can 120% blame them. They are idiots in this scenario.
What you can do depending on what jungler u play is either force the objective and take it alone if u play a high speed clear jungle or another good play, better than forcing it (dont force it if u dont know where enemy jg is, preferably on the other side of the map) is to focus on the farm. Exemple: U wanna take drake, team is ok hp and mana, enemyes are dead but your team do not come. U dont know where enemy jg is. U go farm blueside of your map. This way u maybe lose drake but still keeping ur farm/exp and tempo up rather than playing a coinflip objective without team. Basically if they dont come and u dont wanna coinflip u go farm. There is no better play than this.
use pings correctly, ask teamates for help when they have favourable wave position
Butterfly effect in LoL is very real. One good decision can turn the game around whereas one single crucial mistake might kill it. Loved the vid

Does this work only with Leona? Maybe if I have had a more intelligent support like a soraka maybe I should save soraka?
nah this is like in general, its 3 min cd the vid is tryna point out that saving a single player isnt worth, but if it changes the flow of a fight and gets kills then you should use it then. ive seen some chall jungle say kindred ult should only be used on urself or a carry, if its supp or weak player it isnt worth it
What is the difference of this dragon pull and the dragon pull from your "When is it bad to pull the drake" video? Your bot lane got kills, had a lane a to push, had gold to spend, and your MF has no mana. Can you please explain why this is a good drake pull but the drake pull from that other video was bad? They seem very similar to me

Mostly because tempo and prio, in this case MF and leona already pushed the lane(when he started drag the wave was already under tower) so they did have the time to go and help a little. In the other case if I remember correctly he ganked bot so he wasn't doing the drag yet and also the wave wasn't pushed yet so Bot would need to push and they wouldn't have nor time nor hp/mana to help with drag
Also he's playing kindred and if things go sour when doing drag he can jump over the wall but you really shouldn't be doing an objective if you think things are gonna to get bad.

I once did 2 grubs, 2 drakes and all camps because my tempo was flawless. They then did 4 drakes in a row and lost the game because my team was chasing for kills and theirs was fighting for objectives. There are no guides for this game, its RNG and you can do things right but still lose regardless.
Yes you will lose some games regardless. But fundamentals make it far less likely. Theres a reason why the top tiers and pro play are more structured and formulaic
Ofc you can do things right and lose. You can do things wrong and win too. The point is doing things right game after game means you will win more than lose statistically. You can make the right play in poker and lose to RNG but if you make consistent good plays over many hands you will come out ahead.
@@Promatheos But its still ultimately RNG, I've had games where I got my ass completely carried by someone. You dont have control over the outcome of a match, in fact, most of them I would argue are settled in champ select if anything.
If it’s just RNG then you will lose and win at exactly 50/50. A coin flip is what RNG means.
People with 55% or higher win rate are beating what you would get by chance so playing well means a better than coin flip chance of winning and that’s all you need. If you lost a dollar on tails and gained a dollar on beads but heads came up 55 times out of a hundred you should keep flipping.
@@Promatheos A 51% win rate which is what I have right now still sounds like RNG to me. I can do 1000 games and Ill still lose about 500 of them to factors that I have no control over. But I get it, its not 100% rng, theres some skill involved but its less skill than rng imo
that's why you're hardstuck. Not using your ult to save your teammates is the reason you're no longer challenger/GM.
