Budget management is part of a managers job. It's completely different to negotiating. He can say NO and not sanction the deals after seeing how much they take off his budget. The CEO and John were the ones in negotion meeting and they failed to valuate players properly a football nanager doesn't do finances . He is told what moneybis available and how much the club can spend. Moreover they could not scout players thats why the manager ended up going for familiar faces. If he said no which winger was there that we could have brought in. And they started business too late thats Jax pushed from 40 million to 80 million coz they knew Man u did had any options and this business of starting tranfers late was there before ETH was there.

Ten hag is incapible of putting together a succesful premier league campaign. Finishing 8th and winning an fa cup is not good enough for a club like man united. Arteta challenged for the league in his third season so if ten hag doesnt do at least that then it is a failure. @imo098765 actually ten hag has only won 1 more trophy than arteta. Eth has spent 400 mil and yet can only finish 8th. Also he is to blame for the injury crisis because players have said that his training sessions were too intense and that has caused the massive amount of injuries that united have had. Yes injuries were a big problem but arsenal were without partey, Jesus, timber, tomiyasu for most of the season and we still managed to complete. Who finished 7th the season leicester won the FA Cup, I cant remember what season that was but I remember they won it. Thats the important part winners medals and trophies are the only thing that matters
