This project is a remake of Bubbling Bog Brewery, a project made by Daveyx0 and Aegonian back in 2014. The exact same level design has been respected, but remaking all the models to give them a new aesthetic and adding some new challenges. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for remaking our level! Was really stoked when you reached out. It looks amazing! The attention to detail is insane, and it plays really well! You really elevated the level, while retaining the original layout and design. Really impressive and essentially Rare-worthy! Riposte also did an amazing job with the music; it's so good! Looking forward to seeing how other people approach the level. Early Happy Halloween!
Just got done playing it, it was awesome thank you and your team for this treat
I'll be posting my playthrough of the game soon.
Its so great to see that Banjo Kazooie has some hardcore fans. They keep this franchise alive with hacks, mods, etc. Good job 👏
And they said there isn’t a wide enough audience!
Heck yea! ✨
1:32 OK, the fact that you can kill Gruntooty is amazing
I found a softlock in the house at 11:54. If you break both rocks to get the Jiggy, you can get stuck as the crocodile. It's something you likely wouldn't do by accident though (I did it very much intentionally)
Oh I hadn't thought about that, you're completely right. I'll see if I can fix it, thanks for letting me know.
BOO! er, but not in the negative context. lol looking forward to it, Halloween and BK goes together like PB and Jelly.
You killed Tooty, you bastard!
1:33 Banjo and Kazooie straight up kill [evil] Tooty with no remorse
i can tell you carefully studied rares levels to make this. it looks official :P very well done!
Love your banjo rom hacks my guy. Its always nice to relive my favorite childhood game redesigned through a very apparent dedicated fan. Will be looking forward to this one for sure.
The spooky version of Bubble Gloop Swamp is quite interesting to listen to.
Glad to hear it! ✌
I was expecting this to be a trailer, but seeing a full playthrough of the level is even better! So many things to commentate on, yet so little time... What i admire the most is recontextualizing the pyramid race to have the door act more like step for the alligator. Also, I never knew fireflies were so deadly.
Well done, thank you for doing this. It is nice to see these golden era games being kept alive. You should do a Terrydactyland based level! I loved that stage from Banjo-Tooie!
Can we talk about how Banjo murdered his sister without a second thought?
Lol
Why do you think she’s not in the sequel
@@spencerbowden2979 They though it's an irrelevant character I guess. Same with Brentilda
The aesthetics of this are much better than BubbleGloop Swamp; I never really liked the look of BubbleGloop Swamp (except for outside the level, near where you see the big statue of Grunty); you seem to have captured that vibe. Well done.
Monster Tooty as an Enemy? 👀
I always think to myself if you put this stuff together and make a hub world every time you get enough levels together it would be an awesome game. I would love to see you release this kind of content.
Is not as easy as it sounds unfortunately
@@Kurko_Games thank you for what you're doing.
You're getting pretty good at making levels now. It looks great
oh finally, a new mod!!!! cant wait!!!
Kirkhope old pics - love it
Had a nice Halloween evening which included playing this. Thank you so much for all the nostalgic moments ans new memories with our favorite duo.
Glad to hear!
The "brewery" aspect feels underutilized (the name made me expect something akin to Grunty Industries) but the level itself is great, some nice tweaks & additions here. Also, if anyone can redeem GI in the eyes of the fandom, it's Mark Kurko.
Seeing these always gives me hope that they will do the right thing and make another BJK. One can only hope. Great job!
Always excited for one of your projects, thank you Kurko! Also thanks to Riposte for the amazing music!
Thank you, man! ❤
It looks so great, the music is wonderfully composed and an honorable tribute to Grant Kirhope's work!
Almost Rare-worthy if it wasn't for little details such as the "switch" opening the pumpkin (9:32) which I believe could use some markings (not to be confused with a simple platform texture) and the appearing animation of the metal platform used for the crocodile to reach the jiggy (17:52)!
Besides that, if anyone told me it was an official hidden level, I would have believed it for sure! 😄
Thanks for the good feedback! About the pumpkin Switch, there is a visual clue (min 3:00). And for the lack of animation of the metal platform, it's a bug caused because the modificarion of the original model, and can't be fixed unfortunately.
@@Kurko_Games Ahh, my bad, I missed the visual clue, sorry. xD
Anyways, thanks a bunch for sharing this splendid contribution, it's always such a pleasure to witness hacks making the game live even 20+ years after its initial release, especially when it's of such high quality! ^^ 👌
Oh man this looks great ! I know what's my opener game for Halloween night :D
The Best!! You always make my day when one of these come on. Thank you !!!
You are too good to us Mark! Can't wait until I can try it out.
I loved the original and now you've made it better!
That frantic factory theme made me want to play donkey kong 64
Yoooooo spooky Bubblegloop Swamp music
YOU KILLED TOOTIE
I love the game a lot, I also played that game except the normal one but it is very fun, congratulations and will you see part two or not and you are going to make a Halloween special for October 31
This is really impressive, I applaud the dedication and work. Nostalgia and love for an amazing game. 🎉❤❤❤
I love seeing these levels! You guys are amazing!
If you keep making Holiday themed hacks like this you could eventually end up with enough material to stitch them together into a full length hack, haha.
It's not as easy as it sounds haha
@@Kurko_Games oh, I didn't think so. Im sorry if it came off like I was assuming it was just a thing you could do in an afternoon, or that I was giving you a nudge or something. I can imagine there's a lot of hard work that goes into just one of these short holiday hacks, that even if you were to put them together, all sorts of changes and adjustments would need to be made, especially since many of them are written to be self contained.
@@ryanwinter8813 Exactly, all of them use some of the same game events, so put them all together is literally impossible, without removing ideas and modifying a lot of things
This is fantastic!👍
3:07 Are those skull textures from Rayman?
Nope. Is the texture of Death from Conker
Wow, this is incredible!!!
Thank you for releasing it to the masses on the 31st so we can enjoy it on Halloween as well. Your hacks are always top notch--Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween! 🎃
this is awesome
Looks great! Can't wait for Halloween!

Was anyone Bango Kazooie for Halloween this year?
A Masterpiece, Art 💯👏🏻🖼🎨
amazing
Kurko my boy you've DONE IT AGAIN
hey i just played this romhack awesome work as allways :D
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Great work brotha!
The wading boots aren't timed, interesting...
Them are timed, but I can set how mich time player can use them
Thank You so Freakin much for Ur content Like really ❤❤❤❤
Frantic factory music 2:38
Good ear!
Hey mark! How can you make so many great hacks? Your levels are as good or even better than the originals! I will definitely play this hack! Besides this one, can you recommend another hack with Halloween theme for BK?
There are not much hacks Halloween themed. You can play my last year Halloween mod "Gruntylvania", and also recommend "cut throat coast", despite is not Halloween themes specifically. Grunty's Mansion is also good, but not at the same level, and it has a fatal crash if you play it in real N64
muy bonito y bien diseñado, me gustó mucho.
Gracias!
☕💀
I heard Xbox might consider remaking the first banjo game since they bought activision I think, hopefully they make it an Xbox exclusive
19:44
Any updates on the Nostalgia 64 rom hack?
Not yet
Looks amazing! But i have a genuine question do people enjoy more banjo kazooie then tooie if so why?
Because Kazooie is better at its collectathon mechanics and gameplay, also more iconic and simplier but amazing gameplay.
if you're asking on the sense of Homebrew or fan-made content. Banjo kazooie is only more popular because people been able to crack the code and make content for it
@@NappaAbridged yeah! Haha i was wondering because i dont see much fan-made content for tooie
There are no tools to modify Tooie, that's it
well there are also some people who didnt like Tooie so much, but even those people arent saying that Tooie is bad, just inferior to the original, of which i personally do not agree.@@NappaAbridged
I know this would be tough marko, but is there any way you can make a banko mod that can play angry birds? Just thought of it, and figured it could be a cool idea.
I don't think so
@@Kurko_Games Damn I'm sorry. The only thing I could even think of is using the swinging tree branches that can be broken with eggs. But after that, I have no idea.
Oh hey, took me a while to notice but this mod is using the jiggy collection animation from Tooie rather than Kazooie (spiraling around Banjo rather than him doing a dance), while still clearly using Kazooie as the basis. How was this accomplished? Did someone figure out how to insert animations from Tooie or was it done from scratch? If the former, what else from Tooie can be inserted into Kazooie?
Was done from scratch by a programmer
So how much can these mods add? Like if I wanted add new moves or something, would that be possible?@@Kurko_Games
@@Abradrake2 Probably, but really difficult
u can kill tooty in this one??? wtf?!
Hey Mark, I've got a question, with aaaall the Banjo Kazooie-esque mods I've seen in the past decade, I am wondering, why don't fan developers create Banjo Threeie (using graphics and sound fonts of the first two games ofc) themselves? I would donate shameless amounts of money for such a game, so my second question, would the developement (by today's standards and possibilities) still be an unbearable and unachievable task?
If you are talking about making a Banjo Threeie mod, it has already been done, although it is of quite questionable quality.
czcams.com/video/2-B9_WVG1Qo/video.html
If you are talking about making a Banjo Threeie as a new current-gen game, you would need a minimally large team of people.
@@Kurko_Games Nahh a bit more original and exciting than that one but not a current-gen game either, let's pretend Banjo Threeie came to existence in 2003 as one of 64's last games, 3 years after Tooie, that type of a game, would it still need a larger crew?
@@crastipeter Completely posible. I did Jiggies of Time in 5 years, needing only help for some music and writting assistance. So 2/3 people could do Banjo Threeie in 2/3 years
Todo genial pero...acabo de ver a banjo matando a su hermana? Xd
Bless you Kurko, may you have a pleasant Samhain.
