It’s a relationship that is not restricted just to trade.
Interracial marriages between Chinese and Africans are on the rise - from China's increasing investment in and trade with Africa has come an increase in migrants from Africa.

It’s funny because in the Caribbean it is very normal to see a Chinese man & a black woman. There are generations of Chinese/Black people. You will find kids who look black with the last name Chin, Chong, Lee etc because their grandfather or grandmother was Chinese.

Filipinos and Blacks have been tight for a while. Culturally we like a lot of the same things so it was an easy match. There are a ton of Filipino/black couples in America.

Most couples will have an abortion if they had a baby girl instead of a boy, especially a decade ago. This has happened in parts of India, where female infanticide has meant there is a shortage of women in certain states. And now places in North India, like Haryana are kidnapping and buying poor girls from the the North East of India to get married to, and for the women they really have no choice.
Interesting, but doesn't this create problems since the people from Northeastern India are coming from very different part of India as well as a different tribal group and culture? They are not Punjabi and I believe they don't speak Hindi. They are definitely not Sikh and most of them are not Hindu as well.

You guys this is nothing new. Indentured Chinese hve married Caribbean women of African ancestry in both Jamaica and Trinidad and lesser extent Guyana. In both Jamaica and Trinidad the result is a wealthy mixed race community who goes by paternal lineage and are considered Chinese.
There the mixed race were competing against less intelligent native blacks and zambos. It will be reversed for people like this guy's mongrel son if he stays in China.

I'd say Caribbean people of any ethnicity are more likely to mix than back in Africa, India, China, etc... We come from a more diverse, free region of the earth. We have adapted to our New World culture with less cultural baggage from the Old World.
It's a different environment in the Caribbean and there are many more regions in the Caribbean where this exists.

Basically the problem may be the house, if it's not well isolated it can be terrible, specially for kids. In this cold climates people make living INSIDE home and workplace. It's not like us, we always enjoy to be outside home, just because it's nicer.

I'm curious as to how they met. More so, I'm curious as to how he overlooked her skin color, since I know in China, light skin is a preference. I'm a dark-skinned Asian woman in America and I have never had a light-skinned Asian man attracted to me.

Ive had light skin asian men attracted to me and im black. Maybe their standards change to non asians. I know that is how it works when it comes to black men. A lot of black men say they would not date a white woman and diss them like crazy behind closed doors but then once they meet one they end up dating them claiming to never have a preference even if they did. Men's opinion seems to change anytime they are confronted with a women they view as exotic and different from them, face to face. Never trust when a man says he does not date black women, Asians, blondes or whatever race or type he claims to not like. Often times they just have not met one they liked but best believe if they do they would not hesitate to date them because men like change.
