Foxbody mustangs can use an upgrade in the seats from factory when you modify them for high performance and this 1991 mustang coupe gets all new houndstooth and black leather recaro seat upgrade.

Good looking seats! You interior looks great with them. I agree the fox needs better seats whether modified for more power or stock. I installed some Recaro Specialist S in my 91 GT last summer and they are so comfortable. I had the Corbeau GTS II before and the recaros are so much better. I used the planted brackets and had a lot of trouble with them. I had cut and shave in several places. It was incredibly frustrating but in the end was worth it.
I had to do the same thing a few years back with my HUNSAKER SEATS. They had generic universal brackets that didn't work at all. I spent hours welding and grinding etc to get them to work with the stock seat brackets from the 93. They with great now. So last year I added the LMR extended slide brackets. I am glad I did because they gave me 6 more inches back away from the steering wheel etc

I installed a set of 80/90’s vw helio recaros. They look decent but def want a them reupholstered. The comfort is awesome.

They are very comfortable, worth it to me to have a very unique look as j love doing different things on my car. Gotta finish the door panels and back seats to match now. Thanks so much for kind words!!!

Can't cross thread anything if you start by hand a few threads, but you can strip or stretch the threads if you tighten down too much with an impact
Do you know if these brackets and sliders will work along with the recaro specialist M Series as well? For foxbody. Nice video.
Should work fine they have multiple mounting holes and definitely more low profile for height issue.
Looks great! Puttting recaros in my car next month, any issues with the eats after using pkanted brackets? Curious. Looks so good!

I want new ish seats but ricaros are expensive. Does the 1994-2004 seats fit right into the fox body?
They can definitely be used just keep your mounting hardware
do you sit higher,lower or same as stock seat?
These seats feel slightly lower to me which I like at 6’ ft tall
