And then months later, it's body was found between the fields of the most enormous war that was ever known. Between it's hands, the hope of a new Sun, a new oportunity of light was found.
The world wasn't the same since then.
Picture this in your mind…
You’re a small boy of 10 years old, you are the youngest of 5 children born to your mother and father, who are getting on in years. Your mother is 39 and your father is 47….
Your family is fleeing the Russian attacks of your hometown and you can still here the the distant sound of the rumbling of the war in the east. Your family car drives for almost two days when you are stopped at a checkpoint and a guard says some words to your parents that suddenly makes your mom cry. Soon you are all out of the car and you father is holding his belongings in a old sack , he also has a gun that the guard gave him. Your mother hugged her husband tears streaming from her eyes…as she begged him,
“Tell me you’ll be ok…”
He smiled as best he could in this emotional moment of grief and heartbreak,
“I will be ok, my dear…and I’ll see you all after this is over.”
He kissed her once more, probably the last time he would get to for a while, and joined the ever-growing line of men and boys that were being sent back to frontlines….
That’s the last I saw of him… it’s been almost 3 months and we haven’t received any letters from him….and we always are hearing about the terrible bombings or raids on Ukrainian cities. My mother is anxious and fretful. We send father letters all the time but no response….
In each letter, written in the lower corner, are these words……
Tell me you’ll be ok….
Part 7
Bodies...
Thousands of dead bodies were all around him.
And yet he fought on. Several bodies he recognized, but even more of them he did not. Names that were forever forgotten, given over to the cold dark, never to be remembered.
He hated that. Every strike of his sword supposed to save another one of these soldiers. Every strike failing again and again as more and more of them fell all around him.
He would be remembered if he were to fall. A Lord-Captain was rarely ever forgotten, but not everyone was so lucky.
Not everyone suffered the pain, knowing that they would be remembered. He wanted to spare them that fate, wanted to strike, wanted to drag them out of the ruins if he had to.
But he couldn't.
All he could do was watch as the world around him burned, and took everyone with it. Watch as more bodies piled up. Watch his brothers and their allies die, one by one.
Watch as no matter how many enemies he slew, he could not stop them. Feel his arm getting heavier and heavier as he was not allowed to rest, could not allow himself to.
Even when the blood ran over the plates of his armour, he could not allow himself to stop. Every second he rested was... nothing. With the benefit of hindsight, it was nothing.
Galaethon shook his arm.
"Your mind is wandering again."
It was a simple thing, but enough to draw Tybalt from his thoughts.
"Apologies, a moment's lack of focus."
"Stormguard again."
It was not a question. Galaethon knew what haunted his new Lord. Knew that in the quiet moments between battles, Tybalt's mind wandered back there. Back to the place where he should have died.
"I... yes. Stormguard again."
The words almost sounded defeated, but there was an undertone of something else.
Galaethon shook his head though.
"Let it rest brother, what is done is done. We can not go back, we can not change it. Cast your mind forward instead, to the battles to come, not the ones that have been."
Tybalt remained silent for a moment.
"I choose to dwell on that battle."
"Why?"
"We all have something that fuels us to go forward, something that pushes us to go further than they could otherwise. For some it is brotherhood, for others it is duty. My failure at Stormguard feeds my rage, drives me onwards. I dwell on Stormguard, so another failure like that will never happen again."
"Yet... what use is it if it breaks you?"
"Brother, if I break, then I will still fight. Even a broken blade can be wielded if it is still sharp."
"Yet it will do far less than any proper sword."
"I do not have to be the greatest weapon in the arsenal of the Lord of Last Light."
Silence followed, before Tybalt finished the thought.
"I just have to kill."

“My Maiden, tell me, is this the end? I have lost my grace, thy flame extinguished. The essence of the Shadow and Deep Waters governs my mind and soul. Through the Age of Ancients you have guided me and as long as your touch guarded me from the unbearable call of the Void, I felt no despair…I felt hope. The remembrance of the despair in you voice, when under the Seventh black moon, on the highest peak of Ershannador, you screamed for my name, is embedded deep into my being. For me to guide you once in despair, that is all you asked…but I have failed.” He raised his hands, open palms, high above his head. The embers started to dance around him furiously with the dying of the heart and the vanishing of the Flame. In that moment, when Galdur stood helpless in the depths of the Deep Waters, he felt a tender touch, a presence of the Light of the Grace. And then, a voice echoed.
“But your heart is mine Galdur, I am here, always will be. Even when you fought the Shadow, I stood by your side. And when the Shadow overtook you, I was still there. Let me lend you my strength one more time, my champion, my lifelong companion.” The embers flickered and burned with bright light, swirling around him in harmonious passion. He could feel growing the Shadow’s rage and hear the voice of the Deep resonating within his mind. As he turned around, he gazed upon the Grace of Her, a siluette of his long lost Maiden, as gracious as the ladies of the Adean lands, standing before him, emitting warmth of life. She put the palm of her hand gently on to his chest.
“Iyre, is that you?” He placed his hands around her and embraced her with life. Swirling embers lit up the sky as they stood in the emptiness of the Deep Waters. For but a moment she was once again his companion, a light in the mist of the Shadow, a fleeting thought of hope. Suddenly a shockwave of golden light staggered Galdur and the embers started dancing in motion, wrapped around his hands and fingers. At first, he felt the grip and with the force of life burning inside of him, he gripped it with both of his hands with immense strength that he felt inside of him. Swirling flame of embers began shaping a blade, the looks and the power of which he never seen and felt before. In his hands he held a flaming sword. The sword of his Maiden, Iyre's Grace.
“So you live” he said, with black tears slowly sliding down his cheeks. “My neverending ages of torment for as long I wandered the Lands in the Deep Waters have finally come to an end. You have saved me once again, even in death. I promise you my Lady of life and hope, this time I will find the Shadow’s fortress and save us from the eternal ruin and despair.”
With the flaming sword lighting up his way he began to walk his path in the search of The Fortress of Andurarum.

Light is the gold that we need, with money and without light there is nothing to do. We can buy a flight ticket and still travel in the darkness :(. Thanks for sharing this music, the pain is climbing myself with no rest, thanks for doing your best in healing people whose reality is absolutely unfair. Some are here to work hard and play clean, but we are apart , treated like a pest... stay strong

About what you said Connor in the last thread, it isn't much definition for me at all either. It's just really when I raise my arms. Then you can see some definition between my shoulder and bicep, but just a little. Everyone's already told me I have an athletic build, and I'm pretty sure most of my weight is in my things people use for walking. I mean, I'm 137 pounds, but I'm thin, but since I play volleyball and run a lot, my things people use for walking are strong, thus weight.
Lol, skipping leg day, bro, every day for you is leg day 😂. And yeah, we have practice once a week and a game once a week.

This reminds me of something: When a Sun or Moon God live on your planet and just might disrupt a family in doing so ( they can go anywhere in the universe to live if they want to ) That family gets another life, but not just a average life, but a totally amazing other life, the whole family does. Also if you know a Sun or Moon God, they never forget you. If you know the Sun or Moon God you probably know the God of this universe your in, everyone knows the Bible says " the most important thing to God is your soul " even in what ever path you pick or were you end up at. Me personally I want to the underworld and fought about hundred and fifty people out of the underworld, one time. If your a Moon God you have a Moon bar, time traveling tool. I can go back in time to free you from misory, then show you what evil has done to you when I do it. No I never forget anybody I know and as long as I have a galaxy key I can travel anywhere freely in this universe. So if your one that has won a planet from me, I will be there to visit you. I already have a fleet protecting you on your new planet, so enjoy it, I am lighting up this universe with a lot of new life. Side note: A Moon God is the next Gia of the new planet, after Earth and that probably won't be for millions and millions more years. No one's going to forget you and I will be just fine, I have much more then just one or two layers of protection. Anyway if I really know you, you probably have a lot more life's your going to incornate into next, if something would ever happen to you, and I know right were you will be, you will be just fine. ;-))
