This is the Asus ROG Ally - and yes, it can run Starfield.
Bethesda’s latest triple-A title, Starfield, is the game of the moment and so, of course, players want to know which machines can handle it.
We’ve been running these Starfield settings on our Asus ROG Ally. With a mixture of medium and low settings, we’ve been seeing framerates hovering around the 30fps mark.
Sure, the ROG Ally won’t rival the performance of a dedicated desktop setup but it’s certainly playable - and infinitely more portable.
Out of interest, we cranked Starfield’s settings just to see how the ROG Ally would fare. As you can see, it does run… technically. Although, these probably aren’t the sorts of settings you’d ever want to use.
What do you think, would you play Starfield on the go? What would be your handheld console of choice?

I like mine under 60c but dropping settings to low on 720 getting 30-75 gps. As someone whose first console was a Sega game gear. Loving this.
I'm currently running it on my Lenovo GO I got last week. It's doing well on medium settings with zero issues.

Can you recommend what to disable and turn off or end task that are cluttered?
I just got the Ally and so far I've focused on 3rd player games with limited shooting mechanics. Still waiting the Ally to have native Gyro support...

does the Ally sticks still suffer from that huge dead zone?? I tried it in ashop and FPS were unplayable
@@theStoryofLuca I didn’t have any problems with that. Also now I got the gyro working well enough to play shooters as well, works fine for me now 👍

Will it run on Asus Rog 7 ?
The Asus ROG Phone 7? Not natively. It would probably need streaming over Xbox Cloud Gaming.

I been playing steady now for about 3 weeks and starfield is saved on the ad card, it is working well but I think I got a newer build than the initial release version that had the roasting SD cards. The placement is bad tho
