- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will finally have a new camera design. First real life leak of the camera module of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 shows the rings around the rear cameras could have a more noticeable ridged design. It’s worth noting that Samsung has never used a ridged design for camera rings before, so this would be a first. Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra in July.

I didn't upgrade to the fold 5 so I really do hope the fold 6 ultra comes to fruition globally. A global launch could bring in more revenue. Hey, what do I know, I'm just a consumer who's willing to purchase this device.
I’m changing over from Apple and I’m waiting on the cold 6 instead of getting the fold 5 so I hope it’s a big upgrade so I’m not waiting for nothing 😂

Before you consider investing in a fold or flip phone, know this: while the screen may handle over 200,000 folds and unfolds, the durability of the hinges and the internal connectors is uncertain. Repair costs can be high if something breaks. With the current Samsung design, if a sensor or connector fails, you must replace the entire set, including both frames and the hinges, which is expensive. Additionally, there’s no guarantee that repairs will last more than a year.I used the Fold 4 with care, yet it only lasted a year. This doesn't account for the need to replace the inner screen protector, which only Samsung can do. If you still want to buy one, I recommend extending your warranty to the maximum and selling it before the warranty expires.
Uh I replaced the inner screen protector on my fold 3 and it was just fine... What changed between the 3 and 4?
My fold 4s inner screen broke after like 3 months. Had to use the cover screen until i got my S24ultra. Not buying a foldable again, until theres VISABLE improvements. Inwas cleaning stuff out of the hinge in the first month. The screen wouldnt open 100% bc of some dust in there. SOOOOO much happier with my S24ultra 👌

@Queen_Latisha I put ALL phones in a case AS SOON as they come out of the package. I NEVER drop my phones. I treat them preciously. Ive had maybe 2 screen breaks in the last 15 years..If the fold 4 was built to last, it would still be working in my hands. My s24ultra, works EXACTLY the same as i got it on january 25th when i got it on preorder. Got it out of the box. Used it without a case for about 20mins. Put a flip cover case on it and its still in 100% perfect condition 4 months later. Sooo?

My previous fold 5 inner display rubber at the hinge was torn. Sent it to repair under warrenty and sell it off. Bought find n3 and never been a happier foldable user.

Question for Samsung connoisseurs, is the newest Exynos chip on par or better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2? Or is it worse? Or maybe almost on par with SD8G3?( I do highly doubt that yet I don't know, I might be wrong)
It's better than the 8gen2 and slightly worse than the 8gen3 but 8gen2 has the best sustained performance than both chips
The 8 gen 3 chip is better, but the difference isn't as big as it has been in the past few years. You probably wouldn't even notice the difference when using normal apps and games.

I don't like the look of the ridges. makes it look kind of cheap. maybe the real/final version will look better but im sceptical. I really liked the simple camera circles of previous galaxy phones

If the Z Fold6 Ultra doesn't make it to the global market, I feel that many; myself included, will feel discouraged by the lesser device. Z Fold users pay more because we expect more.
The fold should have the best cameras in their line up. If pixel can do it they can do it. No excuse.
It makes no sense why a big screen phone like the zfold doesn't have a spen hole. Better cameras like the s24 ultra, the fold will be a better gaming phone because of the big screen. Samsung needs to step up their game before someone else does
