Ok so... in episode 12 when they started playing this I felt something. I have no idea what to call it... but when they stopped and everything was silent for a couple seconds, then they began playing their instruments one by one, then finally Yui whips back around to the mic and shouts "One more time!" before they jump back into the chorus and it shows shots of the empty rooms they spent time in... well... I cried. I can't even begin to tell you why. The show wasn't ending, the season still had two more episodes, nobody died, there weren't any huge changes, the story never felt all that deep. So like... what the hell? What happened? It's really hard to say, but I feel like this show spends a lot of time making these characters feel real, like people you go to school with, like they're your friends. So when they're on that stage, and you see Yui focused and excited about something for the first time in her life after seeing how in the first episode she had no idea what she was doing at all, you feel proud. The way she runs to their live show after getting Geeta directly parallels her running to school in the first episode (kinda obvious) but this time she doesn't let anything stop or distract her because she knows what she wants to do and what's important to her. It's really simple, and I don't think that's all it was, but god damn it made me feel. I still don't understand it yet, but this show is something special
this show is about high school girls living their lives to the fullest, but for some reason it hits hard definitely my favourite anime forever that part in the last episode of season 1 where yui have a flashback of her first day going to highschool while playing and singing at the concert where she told her younger self that she will one day find something that'll make her happy,and it will all be alright that part plus the song is just...special and made me emotional (im not an emotional person at all when it comes to shows and movies,but this show is a special one) and theres alot more part that hits me,both season plus the movie,theres too much this show is just special to me
I remember the person who introduced me to the show, I remember listening it when I was still a little new to highschool and I cried. Now, this show is definitely gonna hit hard once I'm out. I'll make sure to remember the person and the songs before adulthood.

It's sad to say that the last official K-ON fandom already disbanded not less than 3 years ago. While K-ON genre and fans had split into two - the Moe side and the Music side. The moe sides became lover of now famous animes like kinmoza while the music sides became lover of now trend idol groups such as Love Live. Even though 4 years had past since I started watching K-ON, I still love K-ON :D K-ON For life. Rock over idol. HTT for life
