Urgh! My life was pretty simple and I was quite content. Then i saw a darn Epiq up close and now i absolutely 'need' one. That is a nice set-up sir and well planned.
All that matters is that it works for your needs. It doesn’t matter if others like it or not.
That is a mighty tall tool box. Looks like he will need a step ladder to use the top three drawers.
Looks great, plus a great idea as well Application matters. Doesn’t matter what people say as long as you like.
Single bank double stacks get you the most storage with less space.. with that said you have several problems using end cap accessories. 1: you wont find bolt holes for your wheels when they come in 2: the locker will not bolt to the accessories 3: if you actually order the single bank epiq you get everything you have to order or modify to work with the accessories. Dealers get a better deal on the actual boxes then accessories and the single bank box would get bigger rebates if you use credit.
To be honest, I really like it!!! I’ll be unveiling my restomod Snap-on KR-562A aka “Taco Wagon” in a couple of months. I think you’ll find some slight similarities between your setup and mine (i.e. aesthetics)!!

If the box is stationary, may I recommend removing the casters then place the box on wood. This way the box will be lower, allowing easier access to the top drawers.

Oh yeah ! Nothing like that new toolbox smell !!! Congratulations! It looks great ! It’s truly hard to beat a top box for storage and the lockers really allow you to hold some stuff.
BTW I loved the spin move....... I’ve seen that somewhere before? 😉 Great Job on the video !

My first thought when I saw this was tha thg would be perfect for a tech school kid. Good size. Not overly expensive....
Yes, it is a nice tool box and I don't want to be a complainer, but... I have a KRL722 and I work on the top so much that it would be hard to do without. Since the width of the Epiq stack and sidebox is 66 inches that means Mr. Tailgate Tech could fit a Master Series KRL1022, KRL7022, KRL722, or variant. He could also fit a 60 inch Epiq or if he could find two more inches he could fit a 68 inch Epiq. His tools would be way more accessible and he would have a great work surface. If he already has a work table he can replace it with a cabinet that is bigger than an attached storage locker.
Nice set way to think outside the box. For some reason we seem to miss the little things until you start thinking outside the box. It’s your money buy what you want. You guys are the reason we see these nice toolboxes

What you gonna do with them top 3 drawers lol? Gonna need a step up to ever see and get stuff out of there. I think having drawers that high are pointless since your most likely gonna be using for storage of stuff you don’t use often at all. So just get a real toolbox with a hutch then put a top shelf on that to store stuff. Just my opinion
You should have just worked with a welder and a cabinet maker and made precisely what you wanted.That's what I do ;-)

This is so funny that you covered everything I had asked you in my comment on Instagram I didn't have the bell hit so I didn't realize that you had already done the video. I'm happy for you man, can't wait for the tour! I totally agree with you on picking out what you want, I have been through a few boxes over the last couple years learning what I do and don't like about them since I came into youtube tool community with only a pass thru socket set from harbor freight that I used for everything on my toyota pickup. All you guys have really taught me a lot that I just wouldn't of ever seen in my life hadnt been for youtube =) .

Great looking box! In the beginning of the video you mentioned you could understand why snapon wouldn’t offer the box stand-alone. Can you please expand on that? It seems like a box like your bottom box with a work surface and vise would fit my needs more that the flip-top roll carts.
How top heavy I’m n the same boat need to be mobile n shop I wanna go this route with a hutch only an possibility add side locker later on

Not to be the correction police here. But that box should be 84” tall. I ordered two sets and two lockers a few weeks ago myself. Great video
You had me second guessing that, but floor to top of the box is 74 inches. Post some pics on IG when you get it in and setup, I would love to see it. Thanks for watching

36” is a great size and still have it be easy to move in the future for one person. I wish my ICON 36” had a top chest.
Sorry but the tool box, looks really on practical, it's so high you can't even see what's in the top drawers when you neutralise them, you would have to use a ladder just to see into them, not very efficient just my opinion
Very nice Andy. Snap on used to make a 36"ish box about thirty years ago. I had that HF 26" and while it is a great box and fantastic value the quality does not compare to snap on.
Love the box. Looking forward to side cabinet attached and review.
Suggestion to think about switch two top narrow drawers for one of the lower ones. Maybe then fewer times to get a step stool out.
Thanks! I am looking forward to getting the casters in so i can get it mounted and parked. I have thought about swapping the 2 small drawers on the bottom with one from on the top. Just have to see how it all comes together once I start transferring everything over.

I think the dimensions are pretty close. The sidekiq should be about the same height as an epiq roll cab with a top
or you could've bought a KRL1056 for around $700.
