PCI, angioplasty, stenting are skillful procedures and sometimes quite challenging. Unfortunately, complications ans nightmares often happen when least expected. As Cardiologists we are opening arteries and giving benefit to the patient, however sometimes, we do encounter tricky situations.
One should also try and remain calm in such situations and not panic. Panic will only create problems and cloud your judgement.
One such tricky situation is embolization of hardware and challenges in retrieval. Most of the cath labs are not equipped with a snare, hence this video is meant for budding cardiologists to prepare a snare on the go, even without an exchange length wire, which is also not available in cath labs sometimes.
At Agra Heart Center, we have snares and exchange length wires ready at all times for such situations, but sometimes, these are not readily available elsewhere- hence it is important that all budding cardiologists know how to make a snare quickly.

How will you insert the catheter when there is no space for 034 wire

Insert the catheter first over a terumo. Then introduce the snare through the catheter after you've introduced the catheter.
