In Spencer, I see the little boy who felt unloved and abandoned by his father now being loved by the woman of his dream with mind, body and soul. I see the young man who returned to Port Charles angry and ready to break his father's marriage to Ava because he saw her as competition for his love...today, that young man has matured into a protector for the woman that he loves from the first day that they met, as well as a supporter of all things Trina. He is a man who appreciates and respect his woman's intelligence, beauty, and honesty, and there is nothing that he would not do to make her happy. I see a couple fiercely supportive of each other, at first as friends, and now as the love of each other's lives. In Spencer, I see the future husband who is clearly in love with his wife and everything that she represents. I also see a couple who remains steadfastly devoted to each other and the love that they share. These are the scenes we have been dying for for so long!! I love that Spencer got to spoil Trina in the way she deserves. I love that he still seems so happily shocked that he can tell her "I love you". I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I thought it was interesting and a little sad that Spencer mentioned that people were missing her back in Port Charles, but only mentioned her. I still don't think he believes anyone loves or is missing him. I love that Trina did not want to leave that bed! And then when she said goodbye to the room and Spencer's adoring look as she did it. I don't think we could have asked for better scenes. Hopefully it continues when they get back and we don't have to wait for another trip for them to get some time together.
I really hope and pray that GH will keep this couple together forever! I haven't seen writing and love scenes like this in DECADES. Not even LL2 or Nik/Em were this good when they were first starting out and they were something special. This is what it means when a show is building towards a supercouple. When they know they have a couple to hold the future legacy families? This is how it's written - tons of angst and then an incredible payoff. It's not about race or discrimination it's about WRITING, TIMING & BUILDUP. Bless those temporary writers and pray some are kept. This was STORYBOARDED at least a year ago but the breakdown writers did an amazing job. And the actors don't even need praise. Probably, with a true Cassadine heir, calling into question Ace's validity. As NAC prepares for his hiatus, where will this leave the character of Trina? Single? Alone and pregnant? Will they replace NAC with a temporary new "Spencer" until he returns? If she ends up pregnant, Portia is going to go ballistic. So many questions..
It was already stated that while Nicholas is filming for Netflix he will not be recasted he will be written out for a while. Most likely the writers will write him out by getting hurt from saving Trina and possibly his unborn baby from Heather Webber or esme or both. Or the gh writers write him off as going to find ace because Heather kidnapped him or something along these lines 😂😂

1:10 I spy with my little eye where NAC had his tattoos removed. In all seriousness, I love how intimate the conversation is between them. Trina is a person who can connect deeply with others in ways she's showing Spencer how to do it too. Before, he only looked at the superficial stuff and what he could use to get more. Trina is teaching him to resolve that greed and manipulation. He even has a sense of humor, moaning "tell me" and wishing the world away at the bottom of his speaking range and giggles and cooing about room service at the top. All they needed was their own place to reconnect as lovers for everything between them to clear up better than a bottle of biore.
I’ve watched this enough times that I can actually now think more about what is being said. When Spencer brought up Portia and her not liking him. Trina brushed it off as her just bring protective. Looking at Spencer’s face, you could see that he knew that wasn’t the case. It wasn’t the time, since they only had a few more hours before leaving, but I hope Spencer either talks to Portia and tells her that he’s not going anywhere or tell Trina the things Portia has said to him. He doesn’t have to do it in a mean way, just so Trina knows that he’ll continue to try and win Portia over by showing her he’s not the person he was. On a less serious note, Trina certainly enjoyed the view as Spencer got out of bed and couldn’t help reaching out and touching him.

I am seeing so many versions of Spencer as I look at these clips, and in honor of Sprina coming of age, I offer this tribute on their behalf.
In Spencer, I see the little boy who felt unloved and abandoned by his father now being loved by the woman of his dream with mind, body and soul. I see the young man who returned to Port Charles angry and ready to break his father's marriage to Ava because he saw her as competition for his love...today, that young man has matured into a protector for the woman that he loves from the first day that they met, as well as a supporter of all things Trina. He is a man who appreciates and respect his woman's intelligence, beauty, and honesty, and there is nothing that he would not do to make her happy. I see a couple fiercely supportive of each other, at first as friends, and now as the love of each other's lives.
In Spencer, I see the future husband who is clearly in love with his wife and everything that she represents. I also see a couple who remains steadfastly devoted to each other and the love that they share. I see a couple who strengthens one another by respecting each other's individuality, while flourishing in unity as one. I see a husband who cannot wait to have children with his true love because they want to share their love with the world through their children. I see two people whose love grew even more with the passage of time, and who have chosen to raise children of their own and show them by example what true love means. I see a husband who is so in love with his wife after so many years together, that when they are in bed alone at the end of the day, they still talk about the New York Trip, the beautiful necklace he gifted her all those years ago, and her plan to pass it on to their first born who is a daughter. I see a husband who still comes home from work at Cassadine Industries and kiss his wife as passionately as when they had their first kiss at Ava's gallery... and still reminisces about how she filled his life with love, and how he loves her even more today than the day that they first met.
I see a couple who communicates their want and desire to each other without saying a word. I see a couple whose love radiates through every pores of their body, that even their children have expressed to them that they hope to have at least half the love from their partner that mommy and daddy shares. I see a man who embarrasses his children (just a little) because he still kiss his wife passionately in front of them with absolutely no shame or timidity. I see a husband who never fails to kiss his wife and tell her I love you every night just before they fall asleep in each other's arm. I see a man who is so romantic and in love with his wife that he celebrates the anniversary of their first time together by taking her on a weekend trip to New York... where they confess their love for each other all over again, as if it was in fact their very first time. I see a man who is happy, fulfilled, and thankful for his wife and kids, and who after all these years thinks that his wife is the most beautiful woman, mother, nurturer, lover and friend... and he openly express his gratitude and love to her and praise and thank her for coming into his life...and in honor of their enduring love for each other, he has asked her to marry him again, this time with their three children (1 daughter and 2 sons) by their side to witness the never ending love story that is Sprina to us, and mom and dad to them.

These are the scenes we have been dying for for so long!! I love that Spencer got to spoil Trina in the way she deserves. I love that he still seems so happily shocked that he can tell her "I love you". I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I thought it was interesting and a little sad that Spencer mentioned that people were missing her back in Port Charles, but only mentioned her. I still don't think he believes anyone loves or is missing him. I love that Trina did not want to leave that bed! And then when she said goodbye to the room and Spencer's adoring look as she did it. I don't think we could have asked for better scenes. Hopefully it continues when they get back and we don't have to wait for another trip for them to get some time together.

This is what it means when a show is building towards a supercouple. When they know they have a couple to hold the future legacy families? This is how it's written - tons of angst and then an incredible payoff. It's not about race or discrimination it's about WRITING, TIMING & BUILDUP. Bless those temporary writers and pray some are kept. This was STORYBOARDED at least a year ago but the breakdown writers did an amazing job. And the actors don't even need praise.

It's what they bonded over in the beginning. The writing seemed suited for these young lovers. Now, the fallout is coming... We all know this. It's the pattern. Will Trina become pregnant? Probably, with a true Cassadine heir, calling into question Ace's validity. As NAC prepares for his hiatus, where will this leave the character of Trina? Single? Alone and pregnant? Will they replace NAC with a temporary new "Spencer" until he returns? If she ends up pregnant, Portia is going to go ballistic. So many questions..
NAC won't be going anywhere in the near future because of the actor's strike going on, and his Netflix show wasn't written before the writer's strike.
It was already stated that while Nicholas is filming for Netflix he will not be recasted he will be written out for a while. Most likely the writers will write him out by getting hurt from saving Trina and possibly his unborn baby from Heather Webber or esme or both. Or the gh writers write him off as going to find ace because Heather kidnapped him or something along these lines 😂😂

In all seriousness, I love how intimate the conversation is between them. Trina is a person who can connect deeply with others in ways she's showing Spencer how to do it too. Before, he only looked at the superficial stuff and what he could use to get more. Trina is teaching him to resolve that greed and manipulation. He even has a sense of humor, moaning "tell me" and wishing the world away at the bottom of his speaking range and giggles and cooing about room service at the top. All they needed was their own place to reconnect as lovers for everything between them to clear up better than a bottle of biore.

I’ve watched this enough times that I can actually now think more about what is being said. When Spencer brought up Portia and her not liking him. Trina brushed it off as her just bring protective. Looking at Spencer’s face, you could see that he knew that wasn’t the case. It wasn’t the time, since they only had a few more hours before leaving, but I hope Spencer either talks to Portia and tells her that he’s not going anywhere or tell Trina the things Portia has said to him. He doesn’t have to do it in a mean way, just so Trina knows that he’ll continue to try and win Portia over by showing her he’s not the person he was.
On a less serious note, Trina certainly enjoyed the view as Spencer got out of bed and couldn’t help reaching out and touching him.
