    Doing those 8 walking palms in the beginning of this video, one can practice them by doing each one 8 times, which will total walking around the circle 64 times - changing direction after walking the circle each time - either outside or inside change. You can start at the higher basin, walking tall, then a mid basin by walking lower and then the lower basin, which is done by basically sitting on your leg or being as low as you can be as you walk for the best 64 circle walking conditioning. This is the perfect way to start and to end one's BaGua work out routine. Don't forget to stretch.

    At 1:51. That's a leg sweep if he were to actually change level (drop down) to complete the form. In Gao anyway.

    The fighting applications are best only when it becomes second nature like with the master here where it can be adapted to the situation in a moment's notice.

    • @massdisruption3437
      @massdisruption3437 Před 2 lety +2

      It becomes second nature when you understand why you move the way you do in a form. Most sifu’s won’t teach the applications which hurts a art like this.

    突然好像領悟到什麼,關於回身掌,像是一種重新取距離的概念,在拳手相搏的過程中,距離是最重要的,而透過"回"、"轉身",再攻擊這個動作,拉開距離等敵人上來再攻擊。

      Побеждает не стиль и школа, а конкретно человек с его опытом и навыками...
      Любой обычный боксёр может выиграть на ринге, а в жизни не всё идёт по правилам боя на ринге... )))
      Я РУССКИЙ и мне 55 лет и занимаюсь единоборствами с 11 лет, и я знаю что говорю... )

    This guy has ruined the Cheng bagua form. by adding his own changes. And not for the better. He lacked anything special 20 years ago.. And it hasn't gotten any better. 7th Dan.. in martial politics.. Not in Martial ability.
