Taylor Stitch approached us with the goal of building one of the toughest, most capable boots they have offered. We happily accepted the challenge and the stitchdown-constructed Backcountry Boot was born. The weather resistant full grain leather upper, rugged Vibram® lug sole, and all-leather components makes this boot an obvious choice when there's rough terrain and miles to go. While heirloom quality longevity was top of mind during the design process, we’ve made sure to build The Backcountry for comfort too. Padding at the collar eliminates break-in blisters and top quality leathers will patina beautifully as they mold to your foot. Wear them hard, re-sole them down the line, and pass them on to the grandkids, these boots redefine “For The Long Haul.”
