Each talks about the contents of the pockets of various people in the past. What they carried and what they did with them.
The first video above is based on soldiers of the far East during the Indian interlude, 1942 onwards!

Slouch hats tend to be worn a bit later than 1942 in Indian. Photographs tend to show pith helmets or field service caps in India to begin with.

We have a collection of photographs and diary belonging to a man who served in India and he is seen wearing the slouch hat in many of the pictures. A few dated as early as 1942.
