I've had a few requests to visit the Clark Veterans Cemetery so I went there on Wednesday to check it out. This cemetery is located in Angeles City just inside the Main Gate to Clark Freeport Zone on Manuel A Roxas Highway, it is open to the public every day of the year besides Christmas and New Years Day.
There are 9060 U.S. Armed Forces and Philippines Military Service Men and Women and their dependents buried here and it is maintained by the American Battle Monument Commission ABMC. There are veterans interred at Clark who served in every American conflict since the Spanish-American War, including the Philippine-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War and Iraq War. There are over 2100 unknowns buried at Clark.
By special agreement with the Philippines Government, the cemetery remains open to burials of American Veterans and Philippine Scouts. The VFW Post 2485 provides full military honors. There are an average of 40 burials a year at Clark Veterans Cemetery.

To me it's almost impossible not to get emotional when we think about the sacrifices that so many made for the freedoms of others because we all know that Freedom isn't Free. Thank you for your video and thank you to all who have and still are fighting for our freedoms. You will always be in our hearts and may you all always be remembered for the heroes that you are.

Oh, wow! at 0:20 to 0:25. That's how the American flag and Philippine pennant flew from December 1899 to 4th of July 1946 like a state flag . Republican President Herbert Hoover vetoed the Philippine independence bill. Democrat congress, senate and President Woodrow Wilson signed away Philippines in 1917.

The heartbreaking part is seeing a tombstone that says Unknown. This is a Family that had never any closer of their Son or Daughter where abouts. Only a MIA Missing in Action. Heartbreaking for the family and the solders possible Wife & children or just that of the Tombstone. Unknown.
