Lily, not sure if you know this or not, but being a Christian, we are not supposed to eat lamb! The Bible tells us what we can eat anything with a cloven hoof cow, pig goat. But the lamb is not to be eaten because the lamb is a sacrificial beast. You can choose to eat it. But being a Christian as I am, I just can’t put it to my mouth. I’ve never eaten it. That's why Watt & Leon are so close. Thank goodness Lilly came back to her GOOD husband. Lilly said Leon was too young to travel anyway. All things work as GOD intended.

I went to Singapore with my Thai husband and 2 kids in November and we stayed in the hotel next to yours and also went to get food in that food court when we first arrived! We enjoyed it but only had a short time so will have to go back soon!

Singapore is an amazing city/state. It has very strict rules about littering etc. it can get you imprisoned. The gardens at night are spectacular. I think you are in the same hotel we stayed in.

Wow guys, Singapore if just full of magic and wonder. You can see it in your children's eyes how excited they are to see and experience all the beauty and adventure of this place. Now the SwissHotel where you stayed is so posh and I love that they do room service when you are out and about. That was so thoughtful of them to give you chocolates, a fruit basket and toys for the boys. I would enjoy staying there and I love the hospitality. I was so surprised to see the Avatar characters and dinosaurs in the area where you went. The restaurants you went to looked like their food was absolutely the best and left me salivating after I saw what you ordered. I'm looking forward to seeing what other areas you visit while in Singapore.
It is wonderful to see! I think he was really struggling with the loss of his father, on top of being away from running the restaurant for so long due it being closed/on hiatus because of COVID. It’s been really wonderful to see the joy and vibrancy return back to his eyes.
I adore Singapore as well. After visiting over 20 times, I still see something new! Singapore can be very expensive, but, I always love the hawker stalls. However, I could never afford Swisshotel. I stayed at some great places and met so many other international travellers. Also, the trains are so fast and efficient. The best I have ever been on. Glad you enjoyed Singapore. So much to see, differant cultures, differant foods. Glad to see Wat enjoying it as well.

When I stayed there in 2007, I spent 2 nights and paid around US$250 a night. At the time, it was the priciest hotel I'd ever stayed in that I paid for by myself. More recently, I spent around S$200 for a one night stay at another 4 star property and this was without breakfast. Since Singapore has banned AirBNB, it's no longer an option and I'm back to staying at hotels when visiting there. During AirBNB times, it was possible to find a nice private room for around S$70-80 per night.
Yes the views are incredible. I just could not afford it.......but I stayed at some great places and had a good time with my husband and kids, also while travelling alone.

Garden by the Bay is one with the flower dome. The Botanic Garden is a a great place for outdoor with all sorts of orchids in full bloom. The zoo and Bird Park is also interesting for the kids and adults too. Not forgetting our international cuisines. Oh by the way, don't forget to explore Jewel at Changi Airport which is said to be the best airport in the world. There is the butterfly garden, water dome and other amazing features too. Singapore Zoo is a must visit for tourists especially those with children. My boys love visiting the zoo whenever we return to Singapore from Canada. The zoo is so clean and beautiful with so much shade from the trees. Don't forget to bring extra clothes for the kids cause there's a water play area in the zoo.
Your Singapore trip reminds me of my first and only trip (up to now) to Singapore back in 2012. I, my late wife and my daughter traveled on a 3 day 2 night trip with a tour group on a bus from Hatyai, southern Thailand, through Malaysia straight to Singapore. It was such a wonderful trip. Singapore has been changed a lot eversince with so many new attractions. Hope to make a trip there again very soon.

We were stationed there (we were military) for 3 years and we just love Singapore, very diverse country and yet they are living in harmony, It is very clean and very safe place to venture around, easy access to transportation. My children went to school there the Singapore American School (SAS). So many places to take the boys! I would love to go back to Singapore to visit. Enjoy Singapore!!!

Yes, Singapore is a very safe place even late into the night or wee hours of the morning. The cab drivers are reliable and you not afraid even to travel alone. A tiny red dot island but has many pluses too.
We are from Singapore and live in Arizona, it's so nice to watch your videos of your journey from NOLA to Thailand, and of course, your travels, especially this video of Singapore. In fact, my son now lives in New Orleans, and he loves the food scene there. His favorite place is Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop in Metairie.

Love seeing you guys enjoying Singapore! We were stationed there (we were military) for 3 years and we just love Singapore, very diverse country and yet they are living in harmony, It is very clean and very safe place to venture around, easy access to transportation. My children went to school there the Singapore American School (SAS). So many places to take the boys! I would love to go back to Singapore to visit. Enjoy Singapore!!!

Literally everyone in their family is struggling with languages: Lilly Wat the nanny and her son, and yet they all have such a loving and beautiful family. Here we see that LOVE CONQUERS ALL, even language barriers! i think that’s why we all love watching them and are rooting for their love to grow and endure. 😍

Thank you Lilly for sharing your wonderful trip to Singapore. I once lived in a beautiful city in the U.S. but rapidly the place has changed due to homeless drug addicts in tents living everywhere. Most business and stores have closed due to theft. At least I know that there are places left in the world that remain clean and full of tourists. Bless you and your family. Happy Father's Day Wat.
Yes, Singapore is a very safe place even late into the night or wee hours of the morning. The cab drivers are reliable and you not afraid even to travel alone. A tiny red dot island but has many pluses too.
We are from Singapore and live in Arizona, it's so nice to watch your videos of your journey from NOLA to Thailand, and of course, your travels, especially this video of Singapore. In fact, my son now lives in New Orleans, and he loves the food scene there. His favorite place is Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop in Metairie.
