I had a smile on my face all through this Thanksgiving video, because everyone was having such a good time. Wonderful family gathering. Your mom looked especially lovely, and my favourite dish was Chloe's chanterelle mushroom casserole. All the children are so precious, and everything looked so festive. You know it was a success when Luke says he is not ready to go back to Thailand just yet :)

Thanks to you (and Jesus in you ) I hugged my sister and told her i loved her today. We've been estranged for at least 15 years. Our family has been torn apart. But watching your home videos has given me happy memories of we once had.
Everyting i hated once. The noise, the arguing, the loudness, not getting a word in. I began to see the sheer beauty in it and miss it. I had 3 sisters . One has died from alcoholism. Many things pulled our family apart, but God is beginning to put us back together again. First hes putting me back together and im leading the way to a path of love and forgiveness. There's a lot to forgive but a lot to love. Just so you know the spirit is working through you. Even though you're just sharing your family life. I pray he keeps working to impact lives and comfort those who mourn the loss of loved ones in Jesus name.
I like your Mum's hair. She's absolutely gorgeous! Everyone is doing something for the Thanksgiving. Sumptuous food. Luke is a nice little boy. He's well-settled in America.

Chloe, certainly picked out the right dress and looked very pretty in it; didn't quite understand her change of mind.
It was hilarious to see Rob and George mimic politicians. Luke, who was sad to leave his dad behind has now acclimated to the new environment and become very vibrant. It is wonderful to be able to partake in your joys through your videos from Scandinavia!

I am glad Luke gets to spend Thanksgiving with his American family. I am of mixed race and spent 9 months living in Japan with my mom and her sisters family. It was a good experience for me. My only regret is I did not continue learning the Japanese language so all I had learned was lost. My mom died a couple of years ago and now I wish I had asked more questions about her early life in Japan and her family. So, speaking for the future Luke he will have very fond memories of his first Thanksgiving and its obvious he adores his Gigi and the rest of the family. The food all looks delicious. Especially your sisters green bean casserole and that mile high apple pie!!!

The dinner looked great. I might try making green bean casserole like that because I hate the kind with mushroom soup. But the one from scratch looked good. Everything looked delicious. It’s so much stinking work but it’s fun getting everyone together. And Christmas is right around the corner! Yay!
