Oh Jo, it is sheer hell, I had Adenomyosis too, as well as having to be on blood thinners so you can imagine. I had a hysterectomy in 2017 and was great until 2020 and everything prolapsed because the surgeon crossed off a bladder lift on the consent form. 😭😭😭
Make sure they don’t try and talk you into an ablation because you’ll be in more pain, go the hysterectomy and just be careful with lifting etc. Oh and see a pelvic floor physiotherapist as soon as you can after the operation … I wish I had of been told this.
I’ve been going through a bit but am going through family court still so don’t want to reveal private things because they try and use it against me.
I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through that, oh I had a cyst or 5 while I had adenomyosis, one burst and it bled, the ultrasound showed 1Litre of blood in my pelvis! Anyway I hope this is all over for you soon. xxx

Girl, hope you feel better soon. I went thru the exact same thing, Fibroids and heavy bleeding along with being anemic and tired. They did a hysterectomy, I bleed all the way till my surgery. I never realized how much pain I was in 24/7 until I woke from surgery. I felt no more pressure and cramping, which truly I thought all women felt the same as me. Had I known I would feel so much better getting the surgery, I would have done it much sooner. I got hormone patches that I put on my hip once a week. No regrets, just wish it was done sooner instead of suffering so long.

Jo… sorry you are going through his… but …
I had quite a similar issue … ended up having a hysterectomy at 32 …. They left me with 1 ovary…. BEST thing I ever did … it’s like an old handbag …. You don’t need it anymore, throw it out! … you will save 100s in hygiene products and napisan! … so nice to be able to wear white undies again … changed my life …

Praying for your health & wellbeing. Sorry, but my body fell apart, starting at 40. But a hysterectomy, gall bladder removal, appendix removed, feeling better.

I had Menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding) when i was going through peri menopause. It was insane, weeks of non stop heavy bleeding that only stopped with medication. I was around 42-43. Hope it doesn't last too long and they gave you medication to stop it when it starts up again and doesn't stop. I also found that iron liquid medicine worked a lot quicker than the tablets. Good luck Jo x
