Thanks for me reaching 30K subscribers! I'll be posting at least one video per week now. Thanks again!
What a nice looking city .... seems really well organized. I’m 6’5 .... everyone seemed really short. I would stick out like crazy
Yeah your right from they are really short. I travelled from here through central America went to El Salvador then Honduras and finally Nicaragua back in Sept 2018. The people in el Salvador are even shorter. I'm a black guy as well and there was no black guys either in San salvador lol
Isn't this like one of the shortest countries in the world? lol you 100% would look like a giant next to them
@@kj6597 yup I’m 5’1 my bro like 5’3 my uncle like 5’5 but my uncle is very handsome he looks like he is from Spain and he has green eyes, actually all my uncles and tias and my grandpa do it stopped with my mom, I wished I had green eyes 😭
I am.j very proud of the streets of my Guatemala. You see people being busy some people selling stuff, others going to school, others shopping around the streets very clean. You don't see streets like los Angels, sidewalks full of tents, lots of garbage, peoples sitting around doing nothing, just getting high or getting drunk. Thank you for showing the streets of Guatemala , very proud of my loved city.👍👍👍 God bless you.
Then tell your people to stay in Guatemala
Muy caotoca la ciudad pero limpia y hasta ordenada. Felicidades chapines y saludos desde Mexico.
Se ve bonito Guatemala, saludos desde Panama 🇵🇦
Richards videos always have the calm vybe to it, welcome back🙂
Oh! Really wonderful view of Guatemala City area! Thanks for beautiful sharing 🌹 my dear friend! greetings from India 🇮🇳🌷🌹💌
Thanks Maestro Richard, you the guy that taught Marwa the art of doing Real Street that helped put him above the rest. Good luck my friend 👍👍
I've been to Guatemala about 6 times, but it always stopped overnight or a few hours. Just discovered that I have a couple hundred families/relatives there, so now i am interested in doing 3 days in Guatemala City.
Nice to see bro. Always know i am by your side for any support.
Looks safe lol my mother crossed the border while I was in her belly. My dream is to visit my homeland thanks for this little clip.
IT'S A LONG WALK FROM 18 STREET IN TO THE CENTRAL PARK , THANK YOU FOR SHERING , HELLO FROM INDIANA
This city in general especially the central main sqaure felt ALOT like Mexico City . I didn't realize it until recently. I was here back in Sept. 2018 and went to CDMX in July 2019. And the vibe/people was similar just alot more people in Mexico City of course that's about it .
I’m from Mexico and visited too and felt sort of in a way as if a was around my own people. But at the same time you gotta remember that we share common ancestors (the Mayans) and our people are very similar, just different slang
Richard, longtime follower here! We miss your videos... thanks to you i went to colombia last year. I do travel alot but you helped the travel to there easy... keep up the good work and stay safe.
min 5:26 were not Guatemalans they were Venezuelans... I was born in Guatemala and looking to go back after 25 years and see that is almost the same.. I left when I was 19 and lived a good life down there.. you had to visit the clubbing areas at night in zona 14 you would see a different side of guatemala pretty luxurious and varied from what you can see during the day.. since it is more tropical everything takes over the street pretty wild.... good tube thank you I enjoyed!!!! cheers
Nice...thanks millions

richard i saw this video in febuary why arent you traveling again
Because he’s being safe and doesn’t want to get covid 19? Lmao
Hello Richard, thanks for sharing your experience in Guatemala, I enjoyed the walk too :) When was this video taken? My concern is that many people are not wearing masks and the places are so crowded., just my thoughts and opinions.
Omg
Is this a new video?
How can I find out when this video was made?? Anyone??
Recorded about February 2018. It might have been in January though.
I can not see the scar of civil war.
The Black people there that you see are Guatemalan, and are either Afro-Guatemalan (Caribbean ancestry), or Garifuna. You should study the places you visit. However this video quality is everything and more!
More than likely they are Haitian or Honduran. The black population of Guatemala is only 0.2% of the population.
@chicanoazteca8614 They are not Haitian. They're what I said they are, which is Guatemalan. It's always the less educated trying to be right. If you knew anything about Central America, you'll know about the Black populations. These people are Labuga from Puerto Barrios and Livingston Isabel, a coastal region bordered with the Caribbean. They are a mix of Afro indigenous and African and the creators of Punta music!
@@rarnold310 You're right, it is uneducated to speak on things which you know nothing about while insisting you are right all the while. Livingston is 3% garifuna/afro descendent. Puerto Barrios is 2% Garifuna/afro descendent. The department of Guatemala in which the capital city lies has a Garifuna/afro population of roughly 11k. The documented foreign population is roughly 20k. It is statistically more likely that those people are immigrants than what you're claiming without any basis other than your ignorance of the demographic reality of Guatemala. They're more likely Haitins, Hondurans, or Venezuelans than Garifunas....
@chicanoazteca8614 I'm Garinagu and Guatemalan. I know what I'm talking about and not going to have a debate with a Mexican on my own people. Their accent is of the coastal of Central America, not Haiti! They are in the city working due to it being more money there. Don't be foolish! Nuguya Garinagu!
@@rarnold310 There is nothing to debate, the statistics don't lie. I'm just telling you what the numbers are. Those people could be Haitains, Hondurans, or Panamanian. It is more likely that they are immigrants than blacks from Guatemala. You realize there are Garifuna in Honduras? There are more Garifuna in Honduras than Guatemala. Honduras has much more blacks. You should be more knowledgeable of the country you live in and your own people.
Still Alive, Richard?? =))
Hey Rich how much money do you think you’d need to go for a month just eating n drinking and maybe some beers every night?? Looks like a nice city good video I’d like to go! 🙏 . It looks clean and safe too.
Hello, it depends on where you are staying. But in general, Guatemala city is pretty cheap, the food might be 120 dollars a month(or cheaper). Some areas are safe but not all of them, if you need more information I will be happy to help you :).
