My name is Chubb

River chub moving rocks for a spawning nest in Western NC. The next day, the nest was covered with brightly colored Tennessee, saffron, and warpaint shiners who also use the nest for their spawning.

I always wondered how chubs made their nests. I thought they rolled the stones. That clears that up nicely. 👍
