    I'm an EMD fan. That's only because as a Victorian, we never had these smoke blowing noisy shit heaps from Alco. So we don't know any different.
    But that said, whatever EMDs we in Victoria ordered from Clyde in NSW, NSW ordered heaps more of them over various classes for how good they were.
    But surprisingly, NSW still managed space for this Alco crap .............namely in the form (majority wise) of 44s and 48s.
    Imagine if this wasn't the case for a minute, and there'd been more orders of 421's and 49's instead of the Alco stuff?????????????
    But from a historical perspective, this is an excellent video.

    Beautiful locomotives! I have these on Trainz 2006 (rail simulator) & they even came with that amazing smoke from those ALCO engines! :)
